Personally, I do not like it. I miss my cheap basic laptop, where I understand how to navigate the apps and tabs and windows. I also prefer Microsoft Word which I can't get on Apple apparently. I bought this laptop for college classes and as a new student, I was more frustrated trying to learn the ins and outs of a new computer than I was learning the material I needed to for each course. If you're smarter than I am and enjoy learning new technology, you may end up liking it.

Excellent “downgrade”

I doubted buying another Apple product but I have been pleasantly surprised with the ease of transferring data from my old MacBook Pro to this. Although I “downgraded” to the air from a pro, I haven’t noticed any deficiencies. It has handled all my multitasking without breaking a sweat so far.
