With my old ear buds, I could put my phone in one location an do yard work all over my yard without loosing connection. With the Bose, if I get more than 20 to 30 feet away from my phone and bend over to pick something up, I loose connection. All other aspects of the Bose ear buds are good

If you find that your signal is dropping when you do yard work, I would recommend putting the phone closer to you, or carrying it with you, which should strengthen the signal. Too delicate for noises

Also often exposure to loud noises will mess up the microphone and people won't hear u as good during calls. Already happened to the 2 pairs i got. Second pair started making popping sounds and stopped working after riding with my car windows down.

I'm happy that you enjoy how comfortable the earbuds are, and find the noise cancelling good.
To stop the earbuds from connecting to your phone while inside the case charge. Please ensure that the stability bands are correctly fitted to the earbuds following our guide here (https://bose.life/3rD2Stu). If they are not fitted correctly they may sit too high in the case when charging.
I'd also suggest following the guide here(https://bose.life/472rpax) for help with the noise cancelling not responding correctly.
