The first pair had a hiss only in the left ear that only occurred in the "aware" mode - so I exchanged them (after a phone discussion with Bose) and WOW! The noise cancelling is awesome in quiet mode, the overall sound is great, and they work well for phone calls, too. Wish they were cheaper but I'm actually considering buying another pair so I don't have to keep transporting them between work and home.

If you're finding them too heavy to wear, make sure you're using an eartip and stability band combination that fits your ears well, as this is crucial for a secure, yet comfortable fit. If you're disappointed by the sound you're getting, don't forget the Equalizer in the Bose app can be used to adjust the basses, mids and trebles to your liking, so do give that a go. Not great with iphone

Also the charging case is very big and tends to get dirty fast. Upon cleaning it, it stopped working to charge the headphones

One tap connect is also helpful since you dont need to pair again. Would have loved to have multi-point connect, but its not that big a deal

I also use earbuds to speak with customers on the phone and they would have trouble hearing me. Sadly disappointed. I purchased the new Jabra Elite 10 and they are fantastic.

Best Sounding Wireless Headphones Yet

I've had numerous other brands at various price points, but these Bose Quiet Comfort Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds sound the best and are very comfortable to wear. I do have one gripe...getting them in the charging case is not the easiest and it does not seem to wirelessly charge. I took away 1 star and left a 4 star rating because of this, but otherwise I love them. The noise cancelling works amazingly, the eq options in the app let you fine tune how you like to listen to your music, calls, etc, and the box includes different sized pieces to best fit every individual's ears. I can't say enough how great they sound and they also look great and not obtrusive when in your ears. Calls are crystal clear, music is lively and full of bass, and they hold a charge for quite a long time and not leaving you out of juice half way through a long flight. I would definitely recommend this product and wish this quality of earbud was out a long time ago.

It's awesome that you love the sound, noise cancelling, and other features of the earbuds, we're glad that your enjoying them.
The charging case isn't capable of wireless charging, and does need to be plugged in for charging. When inserting the earbuds into the case, please make sure that the earbuds are going in the correct side. With the case open and the case light towards you, the earbuds go in right to right, left to left. They won't correctly fit when put in the wrong way.

Also, despite doing the settings people always had issues to hear me. I did trouble shooting and all, and yeah not worth the money
