My wireless beats are much louder.

Please make sure to use the Quiet Mode if you need to enable to the Noise Cancellation, but also note that this mode will help blocking out some noises, but will not cancel every sounds around you.

Bad for calls

You will hear the noise cancelling his sound and people on the call can't hears you well. People comment on hearing wind and street noise. I bought them for the design with wings to fit in my ears. One side is great, the other side fit is so-so. Connection is design for Apple. Android connection was not straight forward. Wish I never bought them.

The sound quality is incredible but the upgrades to user-ability is the main reason to purchase. You can control the volume and other customizable actions from the earbuds by swiping up or down. The noise-cancelling capability is unmatched. These ear buds are worth the price.

There is no comparison between the two. While the Air Pods have good sound the noise cancellation is weak. The Bose have incredible sound and the noise cancellation is very close to the Bose over the ear headsets. Your milage may vary but the Bose QC 2 are my pick for the best nc earbuds out there.
