Persistent connectivity/pairing issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had these for close to a year and have had persistent connectivity issues with my phone. I would guess 30%-50% of the time they do not connect properly and now, as I tried to troubleshoot by unpairing/re-pairing them, they will not pair at all. My phone will connect to everything else but the Bose QCIIs will not show as an available device. I have a new phone so this should not be an issue from the "top of the line" Bose earbuds. I also have a Bose SoundLink Flex and have troubles connecting with it. I have had jbl earbuds and a Bluetooth speaker in the past which worked flawlessly. I am unsure why I'm having so many connectivity issues with Bose. Once they are connected, they sound fantastic and the noise canceling is top notch.

Posted .Hello Michael,
It's great that you find the sound and noise-cancelling top notch when using the earbuds. When you're connecting to the earbuds, please make sure that you're not using the connection labelled LE. This stands for Low Energy and has a much shorter range compared, and I would recommend using the non LE connection when using them.

Best noise cancelling on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the first generation of these earbuds, and the noise cancellation improvement is downright impressive. I use noise cancelling headphones while I work from home, so roughly 60 hours a week, and usually I can still hear my kid or dog from my garage office, but these headphones allow almost no sound to come through. I gave the first gen buds four stars because I think some of the touch commands could be improved (I'd like to see them be customizable through the app, as the problem is mostly that they're set up in a way that is inconvenient for me, and I accidentally activate certain functions when I'm trying to adjust the buds in my ears). This remains an opportunity for improvement in these earbuds, but I'm giving them five stars because the noise cancelling is the best I've ever found.

I love the Bose earbuds

Constant connectivity issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really disappointed with these. The sound quality is great but is completely overshadowed by constant problems with connectivity—the earbuds will randomly cut in and out and/or lose connection all together. Sometimes it takes me several times to troubleshoot trying to just get them connected to my iPhone. A pair of headphones this expensive and advanced should absolutely not have these issues. Would give one star if it weren’t for the sound quality. Really wishing I’d gone for the AirPods Pro instead, owned the AirPods for years before this and never had this kind of issue.

Not what I needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I drive a lot, my main thing in an earbud is call quality. Listening to music is secondary for me. These things sound outstanding. Unfortunately, the mic was not good at all. I could hear people talking fine but nobody could hear me. If I was just using these for music and hands free talking in an office type atmosphere I would've kept them and loved it. Unfortunately for use while in a delivery style straightline truck they were useless. 5 stars for sound quality, 1 star for call quality (at least for the person trying to hear me). Also since there's no way to turn off the ANC, battery life wasn't great either. Wouldn't last a full day when not being "used". I don't use the earbuds for music while driving just phone calls and just in my ear it lasted about 5 hours before it died. That was 3 short conversations, but since the ANC was always active (just one bud in) it sucked that battery life quick. If there was a way to completely shut off the ANC it probably would've been fine for at least the whole work day.

Posted .Hi Robert.
I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the earbuds during calls. Please try some troubleshooting from this page. https://bose.life/44YrETz. The battery life of the earbuds, depending on us is 6 hours. A quick-charge time of 20 minutes will give you up to 2 hours. If you do not want a full noise cancellation, leave the earbuds on Aware Mode which provides full transparency and allows you to hear your surroundings while enjoying your audio. If you require further assistance, please reach out to us here, https://bose.life/3BgUIIU. We would love to help.

Avoid at All Costs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are legitimately the worst headphones I have ever pruchased, and I am taking the time to write this review to hopefully prevent at least one more person for falling into the trap that is the QCE IIs. To start, I do want to call out that the sound quality is phenomenal. If you are in a controlled environment, and just want to listen to high quality music or audio, these are solid headphones. If you workout, travel, or want to use your headphones for work, run, dont walk, in the other direction. Ill bullet out the main issues I have: 1. The haptic is horrible, and should be removed from the product. I cant tell you the number of times my sleeve, my hood, or EVEN my own sweat will trigger the haptic controls on these headphones. How many times did that happen with my Airpods that I used for 3+ years? 0 times. And Im not talking about situations where I took a garment off, or had clothing coming in high contact with the headphones - im talking basic, walking around, hood up, running, or even doing a lat pull down level of haptic insanity. There is no apparent way to turn it off, either, so you are just forced to live in a reality where the faintest touch could turn your headphones off. 2. Charging. This is sad to say for a product at the highest end of its category, but the stock charger these headphones come with is terrible. Aside from it feeling like it was 3D printed by a novice, it is unreliable. It charges are inconsistent pacing - and its not the plug, the cord, or the outlet. All variables the same, the case seems to decide when it wants to be effective on its own. 3. Comfort. This is the lowest on the list, but again, if you compare these to Airpods, its not even close. You FEEL these things in your ears, and its not exactly the top of category experience you want. 4. Lastly, and perhaps the most condemning thing, is voice and sound quality. I was a past customer of the over the hear Quite Comforts, so I knew what to expect, but I didnt expect it to be this bad. Truly unusable - again, if you live in like, a vaccum or work in a quite lab, maybe you can use these, but if you step outside, walk down a city street, or even want to answer a call in a cafe, good luck, the folks on the other side WILL NOT be able to hear you. You know what never had these issues? Airpods. To close, I cannot emphasize enough how inferior these headphones are to even the Gen 2 Airpods. If you are an iPhone user, save yourself the money, the headache, and the time - buy Airpods. If you are on Android, try something else, Bose missed on these, and its extremely disappointing.

trouble charging
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the sound quality is outstanding, the earbuds often do not connect properly in the charging cas, and sometime do not fully charge. It’s very inconsistent and very frustrating.

Posted .Hello, I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the sound quality of the QC earbuds II, if you are finding that the earbuds are not charging in the case. I do recommend that you check that the earbuds' stability bands are position correctly and are flush to the earbud. If they aren't attached correctly that can cause the earbud to sit incorrectly in the case, preventing it from charging. You can view more on securing the stability bands from our support page here: https://bose.life/3rD2Stu.

Buyer beware. Great sound quality. Bad Bluetooth.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound. Terrible Bluetooth connectivity.. Bought a refurbed pair. Had issues with 3 different pairs connecting to both Bose Sound and 700 and my Apple devices. Intermittent static on both Soundbar connected via phone and on iPhone. Bose couldn’t fix the issue. Bose offered a replacement pair of Bose Ultra Earbuds (a big upgrade), but if I took the exchange, Bose has a “no returns policy” on the upgrade. Buyer beware. Proceed with caution and don’t take the bait for a free upgrade (unless you want to be stuck with a possible defective pair with the only option to have defective pairs replaced by Bose).
