Worse than QC20 in every way!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We first fell in love with the concept of in-ear noise cancellation some 7 years ago. We were flying a non-stop 19 hours flight halfway around the globe and needed active noise-cancellation headphones that would not roll off or tangle with pillows while sleeping. Bose QuietComfort 20 was our go-to solution for the whole family. This review of QCE ii is primarily comparing it against the QC20. While I prefer wired headphones to Bluetooth, this low rating is not because of that preference, I believe QCE-ii truly disappoints in a big way compared to QC20. The battery does not last as long as QC20. For any flight more than 5-6 hours, QCE-ii is useless. We could use QC20 for the entire 19 hours of flight, 24 plus hours of travel without any issues. The big advantage QC20 had is I could attach a micro-USB charger to QC20's battery and continue to use the wired headphones, including active noise cancellation. QCE-ii is useless after 5 hours, you have to put it back in its box. The active noise-cancellation on QCE-ii is slightly better than QC20. But other quirks negate this advantage. QCE-ii aware mode does not work as good as just turning it off on QC20. Aware mode not only distorts the ambient sounds but also causes abrupt noises when the ambiance changes; if you close a car door, for example. With QC20, there was a physical button that I could use to disable active noise cancelation and it worked as regular headphones. You could use QC20 as regular headphones if it ran out of battery. With QCE-ii, it's useless for a few hours once the battery runs out. Unlike wired QC20, you cannot take QCE-ii off temporarily for fear it will fall off, or you will lose it. A few other pet peeves; You cannot leave the carry case behind and I keep misplacing the case. There is no way to find out the battery level or when it is fully charged, the indicators only tell you whether it is charging or not.

Posted .Hello,
Thanks for taking the time in providing your feedback and your continued support, we're glad to hear that you have enjoyed the active noise cancellation of your headphones.
The QuietComfort Earbuds II will maintain energy all day with up to six hours of battery life in a single charge, and a charging case that holds three additional charges. You will also get up to 2 hrs
of listening time with a quick 20-minute charge. You can also take personalization even further with Adjustable EQ settings in the Bose Music app. Control bass, mid-range, and treble levels as you go. When using Aware Mode, this allows enough transparency to hear your surroundings or engage in friendly conversation, when simulating this with your QuietComfort 20s, this is just turning off the Active Noise Cancellation technology to allow awareness. Aware Mode can be enabled through your touch controls to cycle between your noise cancellation modes.
If you're looking for a headphone on a long haul flight, the QuietComfort Earbuds II are great when connecting to your own devices, however if you wish to use your inflight entertainment system, take a look at our wired headsets. Our over-ear headphones do come provided with a 3.5mm cable to make this available to you.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible product. Disconnects constantly. Can't connect to multiple devices. Have to use the horrible bose app. Must have both earbuds in to work???? Can't turn off noise canceling ??? It is 2023 ladies and gents, we sent color tv from the moon in 1970. This should be absolutely trivial for a company such as bose to get right. Go buy Airpod pros and you'll be much happier.

Posted .Hi, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear your earbuds are disconnecting from your device. We have a great guide on how to make sure the earbuds stay connected! https://bose.life/3vPKc8l
Whilst noise cancellation cannot be disabled, you can make a custom mode in the Bose music app and reduce noise cancellation to the lowest level.
While single earbud listen with the left ear is not currently supported, we are working on adding a feature that will let you use either the right or left earbud independently for listening and calls. If you already have the QC earbuds II and use the Bose Music app, you’ll be notified when this update is available

Avoid Do Not Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would strongly recommend avoiding it altogether; it's not worth the price. The earbuds constantly fall off your ears. The only headphone you can use independently is the one on your right. If you attempt to use just the left headphone, it won't function unless the case is open, and the connection will last only a very short time. As I use only the right headphone all the time, now the plastic tip has ripped off.

Posted .Hello Julio, I would recommend experimenting with different combinations of the sizes on ear tips and stability bands to find a more secure fit, you will have a small and large set of ear tips and bands in the box that came with the earbuds: https://bose.life/3RJI6mP. We also sell an alternate sized ear tip kits for the QC earbuds II, you can view this on our product page here: https://bose.life/479nlWP.
The left earbud will work independently, you will need to ensure that your earbuds are running the latest software version to run independent use. Should you need any further assistance, please contact our technical support teams who will be more than happy to assist you further: bose.life/3rykPZR. Liam - Bose Customer support

Posted .Hi Emily, thanks for reviewing the QuietComfort Earbuds II! I'm sorry to hear your partner's left earbud is starting to become unreliable. There could be several reasons for this, such as a corrupted Bluetooth connection or a mobile device that needs to be rebooted. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Material quality was not as expected for a Bose. Sound quality as well not in par with Bose. Volume was little higher than airpods, so rated 3 star. Overall I didn’t feel it was a Bose Product

Poor fit. Not durable. Terrible customer service.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For $300 (plus tax) you would expect a quality product. Upon first use, I was extremely underwhelmed with the fit. Despite the sound checks the product has and multiple sizes of silicone provided, both earbuds would come loss and fall out of my ear during light exercise such as walking on a treadmill. After a few weeks, the sound quality of one earbud lacked the quality of earbuds you’d buy from a gum ball machine. Another week later you could barely make any sound out. A week later the case breaks from a short fall out of your pocket and onto the padded gym floor. No worries though, it’s covered under warranty. Wrong. Despite owning the product for just three months, After talking to multiple people, including the whole “manger” game, Bose customer service refused to cover the issue due to the physical damage caused by an insufficient fall during normal light usage of the product and wanted well over $100 for replacing. Bose acknowledged the issue with the earbud was completely cover and they never replace just the earbud, but since their $300 product isnt durable enough to land on a padded floor, I’m out of luck. I’ve been a Bose customer for years, but their sound quality really isn’t significantly better enough for their price. Add on connectivity issues, products that break within a few months of normal use, and terrible customer service, and the answer is clear for me. I would not recommend this product, or really any other bose product. Do yourself a favor and buy something significantly cheaper, more durable, same sound quality, and that actually has customer service that takes care of it’s customer.

Posted .Hi, I am sorry to hear that your case broke and that the earbuds do not stay in your ears.
If the earbuds are not staying in your ears with the provided ear tips and bands, we do have additional sizes that are avaliable via our customer support team: https://bose.life/3nTDo5H
It is surprising you were unable to get help with the case breaking via our customer support team. I would recommend trying again and explaining you were having issues beforehand.
I am certain that using the correct sized ear tips will result in the sound quality blowing you away!

Terrible,not worth the $$$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the worst earbuds I’ve ever had. They disconnect from my iPhone 13 Pro Max when ever I try to use them and if they do connect the left channel goes in and out. I’ve tried everything on the Bose website the concerns troubleshooting and nothing works. I bought them about three weeks ago,I wish I could return them and get my money back but I’m sure it’s too late. It a shame they’re not as nice as my NC 700 HP’s which are awesome.

Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned Bose lines ranging from surround sound, home speakers, over ear headphones, to these. Straight garbage half the time you cannot get them connected. Good luck connecting them to anything other than your phone. Waste of money by far their worst product.

Great ANC, good sound, nothing else
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so, as expected, super ANC, and good sound, but thats it; NO wireless charging, and NO multipoint on a set of 300 dollar buds in 2022??? if they were 1/2 the price, then its a good deal; at 300 bucks, look elsewhere..

Absolute Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute Junk. I tried 3 pares of these and all three had issues, one set one side would not connect, the second set would crackle all the time, the third set worked awhile and then the left ear blew from bass. The quality control was horrible with these. When they worked, they sounded great.

Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought them only to realize the many problems that it came with. Headphones feel like i bought them at dollar general. Biggest problem was connectivity, Once i put them in my ear they would disconnect multiple times at random and the noise cancellation was ok at best. Went in and exchanged them for some airpods pro 2, Diffrence was very big.
