bought it as a backup. Constantly misplacing the current remote so this is the backup to that. Does at is advertised. Only drawback is that it is a little thicker than the other remote. Otherwise highly recommend.

This model is a wonderful upgrade from the standard remote control that i received originally. The locating function that works through Alexa is a welcomed feature to alleviate a misplaced remote in the future. 5 stars all the way.

Great replacement for my previous remote, it was very easy to pair and works seamless. You would never know it wasn't the original. Pairs great with the phone app as well

Love it works great with my tv i was having some issues on response time with original remote but this is great response and its lit so helps figure out the buttons in the dark

Great replacement option. The two programmable buttons came in handy and I love the backlit buttons. Haven't had to use the remote finder feature yet thankfully.

This is the perfect upgrade for the regular Firestick remote. The backlit buttons make it a must buy especially for night time viewing.

I lost my old control, when I opened the box of this new one I realized that it is a more stylized control and the keys light up! It's very good, totally satisfied and recommended

Good, but not perfect. The main reason I bought it was for the 2 customizable buttons. Much to my chagrin, I cannot assign a button to a side-loaded App. It's bad enough that Amazon Fire devices are riddled with ads and other nonsense that leaves me with only enough real estate to place 6 of my favorite apps on the home screen. If that's what I wanted Roku would be a better alternative.

This is a must have for me because firesticks don't come with a remote with a backlight. I suggest this for the rooms you will be watching tv in the dark.

Since it's the same one that comes with the stick I love it I didn't know that the stick came with one so I returned this one.

Everything is great except that it seems to use batteries much quicker than the models that aren’t backlit.

There are two types of replacements for fire tv remote. This is one better than the other because the button for this one light up so at night your not struggling to see what you are pressing.
