    Good Laptop. Moving from Ubuntu to Mac. Not so difficult since its quite similar anyway. Suitable for day use. The previous laptop not able to last 5 hours, this one is good for 1 day usage. If you have kid that brings the laptop to school twice a week, this would be a good laptop to choose.

    With the switch to Apple Silicon processors in 2021, even the base, entry level Macs have been excellent performers. With the M4 series Macs, the standard ram went from 8 to 16gb without a price increase. If you need (or expect to need) more storage, the $200 price bump is a bit much but they offset each other, and MacBooks are the best made laptops available.

    Love my Mac. Upgraded from a PC that was running so slow it was a constant struggle. Mac always comes right on with no lag time and works like a dream. I thought about getting the 15 inch but glad I got the 13, it’s much sleeker I think.
