Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.poor design. I did not purchase an extended warranty, but i would highly recommend for HP laptops. After 3 months the screen and base have separated leaving me with a laptop that works perfectly, except now I have to prop up the screen for support, and I can't close the laptop for fear of cracking the screen. Laptop is metal design but the piece holding base and screen together is plastic! it is heavy, so go see it in person before you purchase.

I got it home, no touch screen, I took it back and we called HP and Geek squad was unable to install the driver. I had to purchase another one because I needed a computer for work. The other laptop arrived with the same issues. I have 2 two hour trips to the store and it still isn't resolved. No one at Best Buy, including the Geek squad, was able to remedy this. I have an older version of this laptop and love it. I am buying direct from HP this time. Hoping to get the computer I want as advertised
