I put Windows 11 Home and turn off most of fancy features. During idle, the processor load range 3-5% and CPU temperature (as registered by MyAsus app.) range 45 - 55C. However, as soon as I start Google Meeting with video & audio (no presentation), the processor load easily jumps to 30% and the CPU temperature reach 70-80 C. With some extra background app. running, the processor load reach 45-55% and the CPU temperature easily reach 95 C. Within 1 min. at this situation the safeguard kicked in and hibernate the system. If I disable the hibernation, then the system will just be abruptly turned off (potentially causing file system corruption). This means, you can't ever use the CPU over 60% more than 1 min.

We do understand your concern about thermal issues. It is normal for laptop, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during initial WINDOWS setup and Update. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. If the temperature is high even in idle mode, check in the Task Manager and disable any resource-hungry applications, processes or services not being used and are running in the background. These will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down. Additionally, ensure Windows, drivers, BIOS and applications are updated and not corrupted.
