This an amazing device on the bleeding edge. Windows has little quirks and isn't setup for a handheld, but Linux can't beat its combability with games and ant-cheat. It's fast and the 120hz VRR screen is bright and just amazing for a handheld.

So far so good. The only issue is windows 11. Sometimes you need a keyboard and mouse and the touch screen and pop up keyboard just aren’t going to cut it. The true winner here is the screen. It’s amazing and gaming on it is a joy.

Doesn’t work the best when unplugged. Glitches over to different websites that I’m not personally touching to do. Mic quality is only good through discord not Xbox. But love playing on it.

Is a useful device if you wanna play games while you're out. It would be helpful if you keep it plugged in because the battery does run out pretty quick

This is such an amazing performer. So much better than the other options out there for quick on-the-go gaming and that is without compromise. I think if I were to travel for business I would take this for use on the plane, and as my personal device. I usually take 2 laptops with me but not anymore.

The Rog is an amazing handheld with minor software issues. Aside from that the battery life is not great but the same as my steam deck. I like that it’s smaller than the steam deck but would still love to see them with a second iteration which is pocketable. Other than that thank god for the 120hz screen.

The Rog is good. It has good quality, the performance is great, good battery life. Can browse the internet with no problem, I recommend to everyone.

Freedom to play any game I want from my favorite childhood games to new PC releases. Easy launcher and good standby battery life. Doubles as a home PC for when I do want to use a full windows desktop experience. Only downside is battery life.

For anyone that keeps asking it’s a handheld pc, yes it can connect to a monitor you just need the docking station. The speed is ridiculously fast and the graphics is amazing like only handheld that has a 1080p not even the steam deck. I play it every where on my break at home road-trips on the plane

This console is impressive. It feels like a really next gen console with a lot of power! I can also say it’s a gaming laptop replacement. Asus just needs to make a better dock and more accessories. A lot of power + Portability + Game Pass + PS Now + Steam + a lot more!

Love the product but the screen is too small for most of the games I want to play on it. I ended up returning it for that reason. I did need to adjust the power settings because I was having issues with Spiderman occasionaly freezing for about a minute. I would definitely only get the Z1 Extreme version, the extra cost is worth it. Buy open box if you can, I have it from a good source that nearly all the open box options for this item are in near perfect condition because they are customer returns mostly because of the customer not knowing how to adjust the power settings to fix the freezing problem.

Just got my hands on the ROG Ally and it absolutely rips through AAA games at 120Hz—on a handheld! The Ryzen Z1 Extreme makes this feel more like a pocket-sized gaming PC than a console. If the Steam Deck had a big brother with Windows and better graphics, this would be it.

Probably one of the best purchasing decisions I’ve made all year. It’s been able to play anything I’ve thrown at it. The screen is beautiful and VRR is a god send. Supports Gamepass, PS+, Steam and much more! Pick one up while it’s on sale. It’s an incredible value.

Pre-ordered mine, but unfortunately I've had to return it. My device was faulty- didn't read memory cards correctly, was overheating and battery life is a joke. Screen is great, general quality is ok. Bestbuy manager was not very nice. Didn't want to return money for faulty device, after a while of unpleasant talk offer store credit... - that why my rating is lower.

My new favorite gaming system by far. The portability makes it easy to throw in your bag and game on the go. Only gripe I have is battery life could be better but other than that it's an awesome device for the price. Make sure to buy the Z1 extreme version.

Am impressed I’m using it more than I thought I would using it for Starfield and fallout games mostly only down side is battery only lasts about 30 minutes so might not work as well for long flights? And storage space, games are getting bigger so more storage would have been nice

Very great handheld, when you’re connected, it turns into a beast

Love this device. Plays all my pc games with great performance! The battery lasts about 1 hour when running Ultra settings and turbo mode so that might be the only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars. Otherwise just plug it in when you need to.
