I've already sold me steam deck. I really liked my steam deck but I find myself playing on the rog ally way more... I've already played and beat a whole bunch of my old games that I thought I'd never get to... I really like playing at 120 frames.

This is easily one of the best handhelds on the market. I’ve owned it for 2 years now, and I can say it’s exceeded my expectations and I am constantly recommending this to my friends.

The performance is unreal, the setup was extremely easy, and the experience has been free of bugs besides a few very minor ones. The screen is bright and colorful, especially after tweaking the settings in the AMD app. I'm very happy with the Ally!

Prefect little device for many different game/genres. I didn’t think, at first, it was going to be able to play the games I normally enough, but with the gpu, cpu and memory, this thing flies through most games with no issues. Asus has provided many different settings that will allow the ROG Ally to look good, even when playing at a resolution of 720p. It does provide the option to play up to 1080p, but I provide the higher frame, since it can get up to 120hz, for a very smooth gaming experience. So far, Asus has been frequently providing updates for this little beauty to address many of the issues people have been experiencing. It’s a sigh of relief when you know a company is listening to your concerns and helping to address the issues going on with a device. Overall, I’m enjoying my time with my ROG Ally. I give it a 30 out of 10!

Nice handheld pc with windows 11 u can pretty much do anything u can do with a normal pc running windows 11 plus its portable and plays pc games...been playing warzone 2 on this thing getting about 90-100fps

Great handheld and quite the power house even after months of owning the device. Only issue would be battery life is rather short if you want to enjoy your game to its full potential.

I really enjoy using this device when i am not able to play at home. I simply take it on the go and i can play any where. Being able to play some red dead 2 on the go is awesome. no to forget that you can play with high graphics.

Really awesome. Handheld pc. Quiet, powerful and convenient. Biggest grip is the mini ssd and obviously battery life.

This handheld has a great screen and allows me to play most of my games. I have a Steam Deck as well and it's definitely a performance boost above the Steam Deck. The software experience is a little clunky but overall this is a great product.

More than a mini pc, that you can play as consol. Love the spec and can play AAA games at low setting. Affordable and best for its price.

I absolutely love this device. I take it everywhere with me and it performs wonderfully. The battery drains so quickly so make sure you have a battery on hand.

To me it is more convient than a laptop, but it can operate as one especially if you dock it to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

The perfect device for on the go also fast and easy

Great handheld PC, controls work really great and im surprised how many games this can play. Battery life is ahort but mine is mostly plugged in. It does take a little tinkering to get setup but i think its well worth the effort!

This is a great handheld that makes for great gaming on the go. Battery life is the only issues ive ever had with this system.

Easily one of the better purchases I’ve made in a while. Easy to setup and game right out of the box. Can play lots (but definitely not all) of modern titles. Only down side is poor battery life depending on what you’re doing. But if you want a powerful gaming handheld this is easily the one to grab.

if the battery lasted more, this would be the perfect gaming device, even with that, it is amazing how it handels all kids of games. you will need an additional, heavy portable battery if your're planning on playing AAA games for more than an hour.

I returned my Steam Deck. The idea of a handheld gaming PC is a great one, but Valve’s offering really just does not have the horsepower to make good on that proposition. While it still has a lot of compromises and unstable performance, the ROG Ally has given me an experience that has been more in line with what I was led to expect on the Steam Deck. Windows hasn’t been an issue after setting the sleep button to Hibernate, as the Big Picture feature of Steam has essentially always been a SteamOS emulator. In summary, this product is what the Steam Deck advertises itself as, and unlike the Steam Deck itself, nothing less.

While I did rate this product “Average”, I do think it’s a cool device. But currently, windows handhelds have a lot of room for improvement. Mainly in the battery department. The screen is good and the speakers sound nice. A major downside of this device is the horribly joystick dead zone. This is not a good device for shooters. IMO, the Ally is the best PC handheld but the concept needs time to mature

My first device the LB button didn’t work out of the box. My second device fried my SD card. On my third device been good for a month now. Noticed that some changes to the device since my first device. No fabric tape on the fans. Different ssd brand. This one has micron and others had western digital ssd. Swapped it with a 2tb ssd. Good device. I’m used to windows nonsense. I was lucky that the other devices had issues with in the 2 week return policy at Best Buy. My current device I waited a month to purchase it again. Figured the manufacturing batch would be different and it was. Doesn’t say different sku. But it is.
