Love it! If you are into gaming, Gett this. I do recommend getting a mouse and keyboard combo that you can plug in using Bluetooth or a dongle. This will allow you to navigate like you would a Windows PC. The touchscreen is okay but if you are going to do a lot of personalization, you will want the keyboard/mouse combo.

It surpassed my expectations as I regularly game on a desktop gaming rig. This thing is a little powerhouse. It runs my entire library on the go. The picture looks fantastic. Easy navigation and controls, and runs on Windows. It fits great in my hands, and the touch screen is a bonus. 10/10 for me.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with the ROG Ally. The fact that it runs on Windows 11 on top of good hardware not only makes it a fantastic handheld but also a potentially very competent desktop replacement. Especially, if you get the (very pricey) XG Mobile. With easy compatibility across multiple platforms, this is easily the best handheld of 2023 so far.

fun for on trips kinda like my windows laptop but handheld. it been blast i haven't had any of the issues i seen others have mine not had it i did get dbrand case and i say it must for ally.

overall this thing is a beast! the extreme version is what I have and ive been enjoying it so much.

This is a powerful gaming device that is easy to upgrade. It plays most games at good frame rate and is a good device for people who want to play PC games but don’t like keyboard and mouse. It is comfortable and good for playing on the go.

Gave to my son as a christmas gift as we were traveling after the holiday. Spent his free time and on plane playing. He absolutely loves it. He is 21.

This thing is the coolest, computer and gaming all in one with control of every aspect of the thing, live it, great for on the go, I take it every where.

The Ally is a powerful handheld for pc gaming. Easy to use, fun and convenient. Only downside is out of the box it wouldn’t play half of my games before having to google and look up for a couple of hours how to fix.

Love love love my ROG Ally. I’m writing this review after having it now almost four months. I haven’t had any issues like some others have had with the SD card etc. It’s amazing to be able to play games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldurs Gate 3 at 1080p and medium to high settings and having it run smoothly.

Overall it is a solid product that meets my expectations. I am using it as a portable gaming machine that I can plug into my 32-inch monitor at any time I would recommend this product but do remember this is not a high-end gaming machine, it does have its limitations.

This is a very good handheld as long as you realize the power comes with poor battery life. You will have your regular windows bugs since its basically a mini pc. The price is very good for the power that you get. If you want an xbox handheld this is the closest you will probably get.

This is a great hand held system. I play Baldur's Gate 3 on it with the highest graphics and it runs it perfect. I have also played many other games on it and have had no issue with the Alley. I got it on launch day and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Xbox Cloud gaming works great. Starfield runs fairly well on low settings. Call of Duty MW3 runs great online and usually gets around 100fps. More demanding titles may not play as well. But for what this is it is worth the money.

Like having the option of having my PC games on the go and not having to carry a second laptop. Setup takes some time and linking accounts and initial updates take a bit of time, definitely take the time to update everything when you first start up.

Must have for PC gamer The only downside would probably the SD card slot. DON"T PUT AN SD CARD INSIDE. PLEASE JUST REPLACE THE SSD AS A WHOLE BECAUSE YOUR SD CARD WILL FRIED WITHIN A MONTH !

I love everything about the Ally. I have a gsming PC, nintendo switch and a ps5 but for some reason i keep going back to my Ally to play gsmes. My love for gaming has died down but i found love in it again with the Ally.

I feel like it’s the best handheld in a long time. I play all my games all the time.
