Really fun device would recommend getting it over any of the councils

Basically useless unless you’re going to keep it plugged in. For traveling where you will have a plug this works great. Plays any game I’ve tried.

It works well. The triggers did have an issue registering completely. But overall I’m happy with it. Did not have dead zone issues or over heating issues on the unit. I’d recommend it for someone who is ok with tinkering with it.

I used it with an external battery pack and play for hours. I have been using it as a PC with the ASUS Chargerdock, no complaints, just stay on 1080p Make sure that you know your way around updating and reinstalling window drivers, as you will need to do this eventually.

Bought this for my nephew, It has great performance and graphics for most PC games that he likes to play on the go. he is even able to play Cyber Punk with the right settings.

Love this. Has some issues that can be fixed by simply turning it off and letting it sit. Decent battery life for the performance capabilities, and since it runs on Windows you can play any game that the components can handle.

This thing is AWESOME. Experience at Best Buy was great as always. I can run literally any game I want at good quality, all on the go. I bought a dock to go with it and it’s my main PC now. Totally recommend it.

Works perfect and great to take on road trips just remember to bring the charger with you.

Purchased primarily for diablo 4 and it ran it without an issue. Currently playing Baulders Gate 3 with no issues. Great device, just keep in mind its a full windows PC. Update everythng often and you should be good to go.

Nifty device, powerful, feels good to hold. It didn't quite have the ease of use I was looking for, and not every game plays on it well. Steam games were hit and miss, but Baldurs Gate 3 ran great. Loading up Xbox live games was a real treat, and Forza 4 and 5 played incredibly well. It's also easy to mod, because it's just a literal handheld computer, and I got Fallout: London running smoothly. If it's your jam, go for it. It wasn't for me, but it might be for you.

I love my Rog Ally. I like how I can play both my PC games and xbox games on it.

I love my ROG Ally. I use it as a gaming handheld and I also connect it to a dual monitor set-up to complete more work related tasks. It's a great device with lots of uses beyond just gaming.

I bought an open box that was supposed to have a 512GB SSD, but there's only 256GB inside the Ally. Otherwise, it's a decent unit. It's a little overpriced, but it's still alright. Asus locking people into their XG mobile gpu's is a real killer, though. Stop being stingy, ASUS, and let us use any eGPU; this would definitely increase the hype for these units.

GREAT SYSTEM. Compared to the Steam Deck I was using this is hands down the better buy. Not only is it more familiar running on windows it runs so much smoother than the deck could hope to.

I had this one since 27th of october and i couldnt be happier, it as it issues if you expect a console like experience this is no it, but as a portable pc it is awesome, plays everything I throw at it

Better performance and greater game compatibility than other handhelds on the market. Works best for someone that is familiar with the nuances of PC gaming and eilling to tinker . Overall, it delivers on what it offers and will likely only improve through updates and further refinement by ASUS.

The ROG Ally is a great handheld for its price and really powerful. I have been able to run almost every game I have on my PC around medium settings, setup was updates after updates. It after everything I have no issues. (You do need to know your way around windows and all it’s bugs)

Amazing portable gaming powerhouse! Beats the steam deck in every way except being a console. This beast is a full fat windows 11 PC and will play almost every pc game you own. It's a tweekers dream, I was able to squeeze 100+ frames out of doom E and play call of duty when doody called.

The asus ally is an amazing device, being able to play hades at 120 frames and street fight 6 at 60 fps is a blessing for the breaks I get at work. The screen is vibrate and the controls while playing games are thr selling point when co workers realize "thats not a Nintendo switch is it?"
