Awesome console I haven’t put it downs since I got it definitely recommend.

While my ROG Ally is generally ok, if undersized for elder eyes, the SD card slot is compromised by its placement adjacent to the heatsink (engineers didn’t pay attention in Electrical Engineering 101). Under heavy using (gaming, the primary purpose of this product), the data on the SD card will become corrupt due to heat, possibly beyond repair. While their does appear to be a soft recall, apparently, ASUS support and warranty repair is a consumer hostile experience in which ASUS will actively attempt to defraud or misdirect the consumer rather than resolve their actual issue. Please see GamersNexus and Louis Rossman on YouTube regarding their experience. As such, I won't bother using ASUS repair services, will accept the product as is, and will never purchase ASUS product again. When the joystick fails, i will replace that myself with Hall effect joysticks. Regarding the SD slot, to augment capacity, I simply replaced the NVMe SSD with a larger capacity model. I'd recommend the Steam Deck for a straightforward, console-like experience. For a more involved, enthusiast experience, i might suggest the Lenovo Legion Go or its successor (the controllers/grips need a redesign). I got lucky with my ASUS motherboard but won’t buy ASUS products again.

Not a console! It's a gaming PC that runs Windows 11. And it comes with all the perks and problems thereof. I have had no problems that weren't user error. The screen is amazing. The control lay out is as comfy as an Xbox controller. The RGB lights are a nice gimmick, but I turned mine off. Runs Steam, Xbox PC and Xbox cloud games like a dream. Some of your newest AAA games may take a little tweaking. Essentially, if you're comfortable with a Windows gaming rig you'll get along with this just fine. If you're looking for a more console-like, pick up and play experience, then you may want to consider Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch. There have been many reports of thermal damage to SD cards and ASUS has acknowledged this and is working on it. Personally, I've not experienced this but just in case I run most of my games in medium settings to keep from heating it up too much. I'd give 4.5 stars if that were an option.

Amazing product, this is exactly a PC, I can play in Battle Net, Steam, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Xbox Game Pass, Use Excel, Google chrome, etc. Graphics are amazing! Right now I play Call of Duty, Diablo 4, Fornite and other games without any problem! 100% Recommended

This little handheld was just what I needed. no longer do I need to pack around my laptop and mouse. Only issue is I wish it wasn't full windows 11 and an os made for a handheld as windows uses a lot of resources to run.

Really good handheld. Wish it was oled, but 120 hz is pretty noice. I play everything from emulators to triple A games and this runs them easily. Warning SD cards tend to melt due to exhaust problems. But other than that solid 9.5/10

After seeing a lot of negative reviews online I still decided to give it a shot because I tend to try things out myself instead of going off of peoples judgment and I’m glad I did because this thing is awesome!

Open box item looked and felt brand new. It plays game incredibly well. I have played Diablo 4, CoD MW2 2022, Starfield, No Mans sky and it looks awesome for on the go. I have big hands and it doesn't feel uncomfortable it has better grip than my nintendo switch.

It is a good gaming system it is a little computer you can play on the fly. You can play almost anything on it. Its a great purchase.

Love it, easy to transport runs just like a pc. One thing is the battery doesn’t last very long usually have to keep it plugged in.

I was nervous after seeing all of the complaints about bugs, but after using it for nearly a month now, I can say that this device is phenomenal. As someone who owns a Steam Deck I can say that this is a much better device. Also the lights around the thumb sticks are really cool.

I have noticed while playing AAA games like cyberpunk, starfiled it lags at first 2 mins and catchs up and then runs smoothly other than that it takes some time to get used to…!

Works perfectly, am able to play the games I love conveniently on the go. Loads fast, no lagging, great system

Rog Ally is a portable computer for playing games. The bad part is that you need to open the console to change the memory card. If you want to upgrade. This is very archaic!

Its okay to be honest, I didn't have mine long (I'm also just not a huge handheld person) but with it having Windows as its OS it can feel bogged down sometimes due to the bloat software windows has. if anything, seriously just get the Steam Deck

Beautiful clear display, and responsive controls. Works wonderfully with a variety of storefronts, I've used Steam, Epic, and GOG so far. My only complaint is short battery life, about 60-90 minutes per charge, depending on setting.
