I like it for being portable gaming pc. Can play all pc games and install programs. The downside is that you must manually adjust certain game to be playable on its built in controllers.

The Ally is comfortable for extended gaming sessions, and it is easy to install games and sync with steam. However, the battery life is insufficient for time frames greater than 1.5 hours of use.

To be fare Have asus gaming and Msi gaming computers a steamdeck along with the Switch. I can when the games and controls work. it's nice. Not everything available on Steam or Xbox live work without issues. Overall, I am glad this exists, but it needs more time to configure the games and a bit more tech-savvy consumers. Steam deck is much easier for finding compatibility in games. This is more trial and error. I have yet to configure these controls to work in some fps games. It's too early for me to rate this as a solid gaming handheld.

There are a lot of updates but have been smooth sailing since. Battery life is meh. Plan on updating the internal ssd to bypass the external storage issue

Works great for handheld gaming, graphics are good for most games. When hooking the device up to an ultra wide monitor, got more issues. 1080p monitor should work great!

I have had this device for a couple months now and it helps so much with being able to game while wither on the go or just in a different place. Set up was a breeze and i was able to start playing quickly. I highly recommend this device!

It’s a 4/5 I love like a 5/5, some games have issues running due to screen size and transferring files, but overall this is a portable Xbox pc game pass machine and that’s exactly what I wanted

Is great if you want to play some pc games on the couch or if you have a strong wireless conection stream over the cloud planning to get some emulators too great addition to a pc set up

Not a device for begginers and is not anywhere near as handy or accessible as a switch, but it is an absolute power house when it comes to performance once you give it a chance.

Amazing device when I was in the hospital for 3 days after learning I had Diabetes this kept me sane and entertained

I bought this when it first came out and love the graphics on it. Battery life is great on it. I can play it anywhere in the house and it travels great.

I'm extremely impressed with the overall performance. More importantly, there are plenty of recourses online to tune the ROG Ally to get optimal performance for your games. For example, I'm able to get 60 FPS with Cyberpunk 2077.

Excellent handheld. Slightly edges out the steamDeck imo all things considered (def better than msi claw). With news of Rog Ally 2, things are looking up in the handheld market. Well played Asus

I have a 4090 i9 13th gen desktop and this little machine still blows my mind. Yeah you aren’t getting 120 fps in starfield….but you’ll get 50-70, and other 3A games you’ll get similar. Makes the steam deck look like a leap frog

First off it's not as user friendly as a Steam Deck. But the trade off is it's more powerful and access to your windows games on Game Pass or any other non Steam service. I love mine. It won't replace my gaming rig but it's perfect for on the go.

bought 1 month ago, at first it was crap. but with recent updates my rog ally has become everything i ever wanted from a handheld console.

This thing is amazing. It does everything so well for a handheld. Windows just needs a mode to make it easier to select things. Using the joystick for a mouse works but can be tricky sometimes.

I absolutely adore this! I have one, I bought one for my daughter for her birthday and one for my husband for his birthday. You can do everything with this little handheld device that you can do with a desktop or laptop.

Great handheld device. Only thing i dont like is the battery life but its not so bad that i cant rate it 5 stars.
