A lot of issue surrounds ally since it came out but mine works flawlessly! People should remember that this is a mini pc so a litle bit of tinkering is needed. Would highly recommend for someone who likes gaming on the go

Works like a champ. Bought a docking station and the Ally feels faster than my desktop. On the advice side: Spend the time to learn all the hot keys. Can be a little frustrating if you are just using the touch screen.

The asus rog ally is absolutely beautiful but it isnt perfect. It has windows which is fine and the battery is fine just like the steamdeck but the screen is absolutely gorgeous and if you like windows this is for you!

Hands down the best portable handheld on the market at the current time the games are bright and vivid look amazing in handheld and look stunning on dock mode to the tv its a portable pc with taking on the go

Grew up with handheld devices like Nintendo and Sony. Glad to be able to play AAA games while on the go. Cant wait for the library of playable games to grow.

For what i got its great. Wont be a daily driver, but perfect for my older games on the go.

Coming form a guy who owns a ps5 and xbox series x..i was a lottle nervous about getting this machine and more since has windows 11 i know basics about computers but not much buy i decided to pick it up and at first takes a little bit of tike to getvused to it and espacially since is of conputer...dint take me much long amd doing research on how to use it got the hang of it....let me tell inwas blown away on how good this is graohics are amazing and its really comfortable, i have big hands.....overall u need sometime ti get used to it once u do its juts amazing machine....sure theres issues with it but what doesnt hage issues at launch over time with the right updates im sure this will het better and better...give it a shot u will not be dissapointed.

For 14 days i have really enjoyed my ALLY. If you can get past all of the windows updates and overall lack of accessories available this is great. It plays all the games i normally play and plays them well. But ASUS needs to step up on much needed updates to fix some issues. Especially issues with the SD card reader. Day 15 my sd card stopped working and i figured it failed. I installed another SD card, brand new 512g and it saw it for a second and then was gone. Neither of my cards are visible on other machines.... dead as can be. I figured after 14 days of no issues since i had a sd installed on day one that i wouldn't have issues but nope! Killed 2. Took my Ally back to best buy for extended Geek squad warranty and lets just say this is a joke too. I will be without my Ally for 2 to 3 weeks as they will not exchange after 14 days unless you purchase the 179 dollar warranty. So good thing you get3 months of game pass because chances are you will lose a whole month to returning for a replacement. Oh and there is no guarantee the replacement will not be a card killer either. Really disappointed in spending 700 bucks to have it have issues in under a month. By the way ASUS is aware but seem to not really give a hoot at this point as they state they havent had this issue on their test samples. As the internet is lighting up with the sd reader issue i find it hard to swallow they havent had this issue. At this point kind of wish i could return.

Is very complex to set up. For gaming use at first. Rune slow but once you configure it, it becomes a more enjoyable experience. But I’ve had the SD port break on me twice now and it’s very annoying. Take that into consideration before buying.

Omg, this console is really amazing, the grafics are really good, no frozen game, is super fast, we can play whatever that we want, Diablo, call of duty, fifa, all that you want… you really need buy it if you are a gamer..

Great performance and excellent feel. There are some issues with sd cards overheating. A new bios update was just released, but not before it cooked my 512gb card

Chose this over steam deck. Battery could be better, but it’s an amazing piece of hardware tbh. After getting emulation, ps cloud gaming, remote play, steam and Xbox gaming all setup, this is an absolute beast.

I was a big fan of PSP growing up. Sad they stopped making it. This by far highly recommended for people on the go. Very powerful. It runs at windows 11. You can pretty much play anything on steam, blizzard and fornite!

No device is perfect. If you have the patience to deal with the windows OS you will be able to get more out of the device. I run it at 18W and a different fan curve when handheld. Performance is pretty stable.

Love it, worth every penny. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.

It's perfect for retrogaming. It can play all the systems perfectly. I find myself using this instead of my actual pc to play current pc games also.

I own a steam deck and i prefer the rog. It runs must games at 60 fps while deck struggles for 30 fps. Downloaded hogwarts legacy and it runs at a smooth 60 fps. Great handheld.

Purchased to use in place of my gaming laptop, since I would now have my work laptop as well. Great replacement, loads my games up effortlessly. I will be expanding the internal memory, definitely a great purchase.
