It’s amazing and blows the steam deck out of the water . I already have a gaming pc and wanted something portable as well . Laptops are overpriced so I looked at this thing . I love it .

Great product poor battery life, would love to get at least more than 45 minutes of play without having to charge it

Overall, the Ally is a great product. I just wish the Windows OS itself wasn't such a memory and system hog, which eats up resources which could be better applied to playing today's games. Windows is simply a very sloppy OS, caulk full of junk and dead code. It's definitely needs cleaning. The Steam Deck beats it there because of its clean, and finely tuned OS. Either a very Lite Gaming Version of Windows could become available, and/or a future model of the Ally come w/expandable memory. 16 GB of system memory just doesn't cut it w/both Windows and w/many of today's games running.

I love this gaming system so much! So easy to travel with.

I enjoy the extra performance compared to the steam deck, but do wish there was alternative options to use than the proprietary external GPUs.

Great Windows portable PC. The setup process is annoying but once you install all of your patches and game launchers the experience is great.

Awesome profuct. Bought it to replace my PC. Wish it came with the dock adapter instead of paying an extra $65

Had a blast using it for travel, but not enough to take over my home set up. If you're traveling a lot, or want a mobile/ budget power of a pc, it's not bad. Average.

Love this little thing! Its so powerful yet so small and allows me to play my games i love away from home and the 1080p display makes for a great resolution at a small size!

The ally is great, if you want powerful gaming on the go this is your best option. The new 323 bios update made this machine even more stable and fun to use. The ASUS Ally for the win!!!

Incredible little pc that runs my game library well. Needs some time for manufacturers to fix bios and firmware to match the capabilities.

I love this device i take it with me everywhere i'm a truck diver and i love the fact i can play my games that you usually need a system for. The only problem is you need wifi

I now own this and a steam deck and i love them both. This runs steam and the epic games store like a dream, and it is so nice to be able to play on the go.

personally i love this console. I would change 2 things, first you dont have an hdmi or mini hdmi port to connect it to a tv, and second the battery is going to die in 1- 1:30 hours.

Love the system a little difficult but you get used to it still got a couple bugs that needs to work on and update like any other PC but it's really great it's better than the steam deck

With just a little time and patience, you could have the best handheld gaming system currently.

Great device, I use it everywhere and really works great. There are a LOT of updates out of the box. That is to be expected with a brand new device in all aspects so it was understandable.

Wow I can’t believe Asus nailed it the way they did with the ROG ALLY. Portable gaming at its finest. Game libraries expanding daily. I have zero complaints

Was so hyped for this thing. When I got it I was blown away by the screen quality. Unfortunately everything else about the device is hot garbage. Within a week my creaky LB stopped working. Also, every time I turned the device on I had to manually disable/enable the SD card reader because otherwise it wouldn't show up. I returned it while I still could, gonna wait a few months to see if Asus addresses the horrible build quality. If they don't I'm gonna wait for the next Steam Deck as my Deck has been flawless for the past year I've owned it. What a letdown...
