I have no complaints and never experienced any of the issues people have mentioned. That said, I returned it because unfortunately )through no fault of the ROG Ally) Windows just doesn't work as a handheld gaming OS.

Not Worth it Right Now

Getting extremely hot, freezing and battery life was horrible. Always had to keep it plugged in. Hope they figure it out soon, again great idea.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the ally for about 2 weeks and I use it for mainly software capabilities i've enjoyed the battery life and recommend you tweak the modes on manual, using the performance/turbo mode can cause heating that isnt necessary for most games and can only be a difference of 4-5 better frames. meanwhile tweaking these options can give u better if not DOUBLE the performance with minimum heating and battery usuage. Only downside is the price is pretty over budget in comparison to the steam deck, but as someone whom enjoys having a Window's OS device with top specs for ease of access to my programs I do enjoy this, and the fact i can play games as well. Biggest fair game is that you have ALOT of FREEDOM to use any programs since it runs windows 11. Lastly, i'd say if Microsoft and ASUS take priority in this product and constantly update and partner together, it will be a HUGE game changer in handheld consoles,
