All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, and are built to last. ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. We recommend you send the device in for service to determine if the card reader is faulty so this may be resolved immediately. An RMA number is required to send it in for service. Thing goes hard. Since its a computer its really cool to personalize. Since day one they have been making small firmware updates to armory se. Making games more easier to access. Hope they make more updates.

If it did not have that it would've been a 5 star from me. If you don't care about the sd card slot highly recommend this device.

Micro SD card problems.

After I removed the SD card it worked great again, but it no longer reads Micro SD cards also my Micro SD card no longer works. Will send back my Ally for an RMA.

Questions check:
1. SD card brand and model
2. SD card capacity
3. How much storage capacity has been used on the SD card
4. SD card is first time use?
5. SD card worked on other devices after failing on the ROG Ally?
6. Thermal profile usually used > Silent / performance / turbo / manual

Needs some updates and clean the bugs up then it will be solid. Love my steam deck but this thing is awesome.
