Its windows on the go, so anything tou cam do on your windows deaktop is more than capable of being done on this device. Every gaming app can be installed and configured to your liking. Rom emulation is a beast on here. Highly recommend thua device!

Fix triger delay(mouse left click)at Battlefiled 2

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Launch the Regedit and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > PrecisionTouchPad Change value of a key AAPThreshold from 2 to 0 then restart Rog Ally, it should be able to remap the controller keys(make sure use controller Auto mode) and play Bettlefield 2,3 etc.

Good, but my SD card slot and biometrics stop work

Top notch portal pc gaming

The graphic quality is great, the funcationality of it is great. I recommened it to all my pc gaming friends with kids or are constantly on the go!

Won’t power on unless plugged in

The device itself works exactly as advertised when it’s plugged in. There are some minor issues with the right stick dead zone, but everything else works great. Unfortunately, my ROG Ally will not power on unless it’s plugged in. I have been going back-and-forth for weeks with Asus support and still have no resolution to the issue. I’m assuming that at some point my device will get returned either for a repair or a new one but at this point it’s very frustrating

Very Enjoyable

Good but gamepass or steam, choose wisely.

Plus, you only need the cheaper pc game pass. However, game pass cannot be shared with multiple users even on the same device so you're better off buying games on steam if you plan to share it with your family members.

ROG Ally Z1 Extreme Review

Thankfully Best Buy handles the warranty when you buy through them. Another downside is the periptery XG mobile connecter that only works with the $2,000 RTX 4090 Mobile. ASUS should sell a dongle/docking station that uses the XG mobile connector to allow us to have a thunderbolt 4 port.

Poor Build Quality and Software

I even had to restart/reset the device while setting it up for the first time. If you want this for small scale indie games, it’ll do the job but honestly, just get a laptop if portability is a must
