    I'm on my third unit, 1st one I had to return due the 0 input from the LB button, 2nd unit returned due to A button constantly getting stuck right out of the box. I feel as Asus should have waited another couple of months before releasing this device. Has a bunch of software bugs constant crashes, bunch of performance issues (which are being adressesd). But with me being very familiar With PC gaming I can get around most of these issues. I wouldn't recommend this device to the first time /casual pc gamer.

    Great quality but, it isn't working with many games, sometimes it was too slow. The battery run out in 1 hour, it's beautiful but just that.

    Better than Deck

    So much better than the Steam Deck! I got the Steam Deck on release, but ended up not even using it that much. Since I've had the Ally, I use it almost daily! It has higher resolution and more power than the Deck and I love that you can play any Windows games (not just Steam games)

    While it works just fine, battery sucks, games lag, and my joystick had ghost inputs.

    The device is Cool , Ya know Like there was no overheating In my asus at all , it ran all PS3 emulation SO GOOD could not stop playing skate 2 and skate 3 and it ran modernwarfare crazyyyy , but I only returned mine due to the buttons being so far apart

    The upgraded display, when compared to the Steam Deck is nice on paper, but it doesn't state the terrible batter life. The right trigger only registers up to 92% under a complete press, which makes it useless for racing games. At the very best, it compares to a Mac mini but has a built in display. If you want to play anything mobile and hand held, buy a Nintendo Switch, much better build quality.

    This was a waste. It over heats pretty bad, the battery life is atrocious … would get maybe 1 hour before it got really hot

    If you are a PS5 owner and you can’t afford a PC this is for you. You can do anything with it, cloud gaming, offline gaming, run emulators, bluestack for android games, run more than one game in the background etc. This is not a console for children since they requires tinkering.

    Rog Ally can do 120 fps , has 16gb of ram, and a 40wh battery . I loved it so much and they are a lot cheaper now .

    Amazing handheld and perfect for me. Sadly paying way more than i sjpuld of cause its now on sale and Best Buy wont price match me.

    Still haven’t gotten it and ordered it at the beginning of December. Currently Dec 16th and the track said it was supposed to arrive on the 10th. Hoping it gets here before christmas

    I bought this Rog Ally through an open box deal, and this honestly everything I hoped for and more. If you're looking to get one of these but can't afford the full price, open box is the way to go.

    Listen. The device is great when it’s not constantly needed to be repaired or replaced. 2 units have failed with the SD Card slot and the third unit refused to charge and the same problem with the SD Card slot. If you’re still dead set on getting this just make sure you’re ready to have these components fail. I have not dropped any of my units and they just failed within 1 month of normal use.

    This handheld device is just awesome! I love how user-friendly the Rog ally is and how easy it was to upgrade my SSD. They really thought aboht how to make a PC compatible handheld for your everyday gamer. I really recommend that if you don't have one get this over the Steam deck.
