The tech just isnt quite there

Lobe that you can play games from your steam library, but its just not powerful enough. Framrate just isnt there and can look blurry. Never been a handheld gamer and this was my first attempt. Maybe im just not used the degraded quality of handhelds. I dunno. Its not a 1 star and definitely isnt a 5 star.

Love this

I can dock it to a thunderbolt dock (single monitor) Full windows allows me to run whatever application I want. Great product great device.

Good hardware ruined by software

Software is not so good from completely not recognizing the "controller" on xbox game pass, To closing games when you open the software to change the screen brightness or change the power setting. It would be an amazing handheld if it wasn't for these inconveniences.

Steam Deck is just better

Feels great and the screen is amazing but I can’t justify it over a Steam Deck. Atleast games run through windows. Maybe great for emulators and other games, not great for shooters like Halo and even Portal 2

Good for a gen 1 product

Not What it Seemed to be

Overall feel of the product felt decent but I wouldn’t stay on it long because the grip felt uncomfortable. The performance wasn’t as good when playing some of the higher game unless it was plugged in on turbo and even then it wasn’t as good. Over all it’s a amazing looking product but wasn’t worth it to me.

Save your money and your time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited to purchase this system but have a lot of regret now that I am out almost $800. Within the first day it had tons of updates and I’ve spent close to 3 hours troubleshooting issues. The second time I turned it on there was an issue with my pin and I had to reset it. Finally got some games on it and played 45 mins off the charger before I needed to plug it in. I let it sit on the charger for half an hour and decided to play with it plugged in only I couldn’t because the battery still wasn’t charged enough to power it on. After about 10 more minutes I was able to play again so 40 mins total of waiting. Game play was good. I’ve now owned the device for 24 hours and after the updates last night NONE of the buttons work, only the touch screen. I tried the work around a I found on Reddit and reset the thing a dozen times… nothing. I will be returning it and purchasing a steam deck. So far I’ve spent more time fixing the device than playing the device and I really don’t need an expensive brick at this time.

Problem after problem

I preordered this device the day it was announced, yet I received my preorder late due to shipping issues. The handheld had an unbearable coil/fan whine noise that drove me crazy; I went to the closest Best Buy to exchange it for a new device... and the second one doesn't even work! This will be my second return! I cannot even comment on the game performance because I never made it that far with either of the devices. Very, very disappointed because I was very, very excited for this handheld PC. I even sold my Steam Deck to pay for the ROG Ally.

SD Card Failure

It's hardware and heat which means the reader will eventually fail. Buy only if you're willing to accept this. Otherwise it's a great gaming handheld. I'm actually surprise BB is still selling these given the official state by Asus.

3. How much storage capacity has been used on the SD card
4. SD card is first time use?
