My SD card reader is completely fried and even after ASUS replaces it the issue can still happen. There is a design flaw because they put the SD card reader next to the vents. As a result, the SD card reader overheats and breaks. Known issue, everyone is complaining on Reddit about it.

Been using it since day one with no issues. I'll say the initial boot up time is a bit slow but that's for every devices that run Windows.

Overheats and kept freezing when trying to use the screen keyboard. Returned ot and once again another poorly built Asus device. Especially for the price.

Where this goes wrong is the fps. In pve content I am average about 40-50 fps. In pvp content I am averaging about 50-60 fps. I had no idea the fps was going to equal a console. I just can’t go from almost 200 fps to an average of 50. Going to take back and get a gaming laptop instead. If you are on console, this would be a great travel console. If your on pc, stay away.

It's unfortunate to hear you're not completely satisfied with your ROG Ally. You can try setting your Ally to Turbo mode to maximize your gaming experience. You can also try adjusting your graphical settings help increase your FPS. In the meantime, try making sure you've completed all pending updates on both Armoury Crate and Windows Update. Better than Steam Deck

If you are willing to put aome energy into learning Windows for a touch screen device and realize it isn’t so plug and play, it’s perfect.
