    Much better than the steam deck. Easy to upgrade memory also. Can run many games at 120hz. You’d be surprised!

    Shipped with too many issues. Games set to the lowest setting that appeared to work ok kept randomly crashing at lower power modes. Plus stick drift out of the box... Was sold as the premium unit but the joy sticks felt as bad as basic switch joycons... For the price this just didnt feel right. Also it was frying SD cards and ASUS said tough luck.

    I have every console, a high end PC, a high end Laptop, and a Steam Deck. I picked this up due to Steam Deck not being able to play specific games that are multiplayer. This thing is strong but the battery is absolutely terrible..its not for someone who wants more than 1 hour if gameplay unplugged. Save your money though, the design of this causes SD Cards to burnout.I got 4 days until my 512gb Micro SD Card failed. Im returning. I lost $49 just using my micro SD card on this terrible design. Do yourself a favor, google this issue. I wish I did. Im lost who the clown is who decided to put a micro sd card slot near the exhaust fan. Lesson learned not to buy ASUS.

    The item overheat on my hands and run really slow the games also battery just work for 20 min

This is not the kind of quality to expect from ASUS products and it's not the norm. Based on the issues described, we recommend updating the BIOS. It is recommended to download and update the BIOS and firmware for system performance optimization. The update takes a few minutes, please do not turn off the device during the process to avoid a critical problem that the system cannot be turned on.     I bought the ROG Ally, and within a couple of months, the SD card reader stopped working. Without an SD card, the storage is terribly low, making the device almost useless for gaming. ASUS customer care has been unresponsive, despite this being a widespread issue. There's no recall or solution offered. Paying a premium for a faulty product is incredibly frustrating. Avoid the ROG Ally and save yourself the trouble.

    When it was working I had a lot of fun, but it had too many problems. It would overheat and not read the card, so I exchanged it for a new one, but the second also had the same problem with overheating and nothing I downloaded would open.

    Full transparency, this was an open box. The device was on when I took it out of the box. 1. Would not connect to wifi during set up. 2. It Would not let me sign into my Microsoft account and said it was locked when I could log into the account through the browser on my Mac. 3. The mouse courser disappeared and all the external buttons did absolutely nothing. I had to use touch for it to work. Looked bad to me, the floor model worked better. I did some reading and found that I needed to update the device first through the software center and update the drivers. The device is garbage. Do not waste your money on this, even if you are a gamer, the actual battery life sucks. Awful user set up experience.
