I’ll stick with steam

When this came out I had to get it. Using my Xbox pass was a huge selling point for me. However, it is just not ready yet. The joycons are awful, no where near as accurate as my steam or my Xbox controller. Getting games to download and work is time consuming, if you can even get it to play and much slower compared to my steam. It also takes a lot more to get it ready for play in the initial set up. It’s prettier. That’s about all it has going for it. I’m going to give it a couple more days but plan to return.

Steam Deck Competition?

I’m a steam deck owner who has been waiting for this. A reasonably priced windows, steam deck alternative. At the end of the day it just didn’t cut it. Probably after year 1 it will receive enough patches to make it awesome, but out of the box today? It definitely is not. Wait on this one.

Not worth it

Had to exchange within 24 hours. 2nd one lasted a few month but now the left joystick is completely useless. For a $700 unit I would hope it would at least last a year. Pretty disappointed. I would avoid.

We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused. ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free. Receiving two devices with issues is random. ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. We recommend you send the product in for service to determine if this is a hardware issue so this may be resolved immediately.
