I have been using it for couple hours and the first thing that caught n]my attention is that the only way a game runs smooth is on Turbo mode and sometimes even game crashes . In the other hand if you plan to buy this expensive device for online gaming you are wrong, the lag is tremendous and the battery won’t last a whole Warzone match. In order to play Warzone you will need to be sitting next to a power outlet and honestly I think the fun on handheld devices is the comfort of playing anywhere. If you’e are required to play while chargin I would suggest a PS5 instead, cheaper and more powerful.

Asus takes weeks to respond for RMA and Best Buy refuses to fix issues as they try attempts to charge you 50-200 for total tech when the device has a 1 year warranty that is covered by Best Buy according to Asus support site.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve seen some people say their experience with this thing isn’t that bad and it runs fine, but for me this was farthest from the truth. -Had a 2 hour start up process before you can play games -Froze and crashed on me every time I tried to do ANYTHING on it. -Had to reset the system 7 different times with updates before it was even useable -Unresponsive. Would click on applications and sit there and be wondering if it was even working half the time. -performance was somewhat decent on turbo mode, but you can only use it in this mode for like an hour. -Would forget stuff that I set up after I was forced to reset it.( like pins and passwords ) -bottom buttons just didn’t work no matter what I did in the armor software. -discord audio would cut out every minute or two while chatting with friends. So…… maybe some updates in the future will be able to make this useable, but I wasn’t going to wait and find out. (DO NOT RECOMMEND)

If you are experiencing system crash or performance issue with the laptop, check if the laptop is running with the most current BIOS version posted at. Also, verify if Windows and drivers are updated in order to maintain optimum system stability and performance. While accessing cloud gaming, please check if the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance.

The device has a lot of software bugs and solution for these bugs sometimes is not simple I had to do a factory reset to solve an issue I faced. Asus needs to optimize it and fix all the software issues and have more support for the device.
