Can be a desktop replacement. Issues with heating and sd card that should be fixed soon. A little buggy. No real need to upgrade ssd with 512gb. Fan is quieter than steam deck. Slightly smaller device and better aesthetic.

My conclusion is great product but it definitely needs some work with firmware and software updates.

However, ive realized i prefer playing on a big screen. Handhelds are not for me. As dor the Ally, cool design. But you better get ready to do many updates, twinking with settings, troubleshooting. Because out of the box, its not even close to be ready to play.

With how games use gamepads, some games will require some settings to be adjusted to work with the game. If you're using Steam you can run Steam in Big Picture mode to help with navigating through your library.
