Disappointing

If steam deck had the refresh rate and screen id use it more. Dissapointed to say the least. May just return.

product not replaced

Couldn't Have Been A Worse Experience

THE BAD: - It started with around 5hrs of updates and troubleshooting to get in 15 minutes of actual gameplay. - During gameplay, sticks weren't very responsive with a very large deadzone that was not adjustable. - Graphic setting had to be lower than I expected for it to run games well. - I found the handheld to be quite uncomfortable to hold and the stick layout and back paddles are not good for smaller hands. - Installed games do not automatically show up in Armory Crate as Asus claims. - Armory Crate is a buggy mess. - The scale used for the screen makes things unreadable unless you have perfect vision. Even wearing my glasses didn't help. Everything is just so small and changing the scale makes running games wonky, if they run at all. - The cardboard "stand" that comes in the box is just a slap in the face. - The screen at times takes up to 10 seconds to respond to a touch. - No screen protectors, hard cases or device cases available. - Last update put device in a stuck bootloop so I returned it.

Defective joystick

It likes to stick to either straight left or straight right until you push it further. This makes chsnging direction in games difficult and makes it unplayable in certain situations

Defective, Best Buy would not allow even exchange.

It was going to be a Christmas gift for my son, but fortunately I opened and tested it when I got home. The controls would not work and the right joystick would not light up, despite firmware and software updates as well as hours of troubleshooting. Geeksquad obviously did not thoroughly inspect this. When I tried to return it, Best Buy would not do an even exchange because its price had increased by 200 dollars. I was even willing to pay the difference for a brand new one, but Best Buy would not honor the sale price. I think this policy is unfair, as the problem was Best Buy's fault yet they expected me to pay hundreds of dollars more just because it wasn't on sale anymore. Caveat Emptor if you buy something on sale. Best Buy does not stand behind its "promises."
