    A lot of windows glitches. Way more than a normal PC, if you can deal with that it is great to play games on.

    Released to the public too early, even as a software developer I am constantly disappointed and upset with the Asus ROG Ally

    Lots of issues that need to be resolved. Id hold off and give it time to cook to see if asus resolves the issues. It is pretty awesome tho.

    okay device for what it is. Many aspects can be improved in terms of design and firmware. No 2280 drive support and third party egpu.

    Biggest waste of money ive ever spent on a handheld. Cant even get any games to run. Extreme lag on everything. Horrible interface. Not 1 game worked. Cant go into full screen. Mouse pointer works about 10% of the time. Its just a mess. Has been nothing but a paper weight and when trying to use it jusr becomes much easier to put it away and grab a better handheld. Will never buy anything asus again.

    Joystick stopped working after a couple of weeks. Which seems to be a common hardware issue on this device, from the searching I did online. Luckily it was still within the 30day return window. It’s a great device and was awesome for gaming AND there still seems to be lots of software and hardware issues to be resolved. Maybe the next one will be better…

    Recieved a defective unit

    Not sure if it was damaged in shipping or Asus somehow passed a defective unit, but one of the fans, CPU Fan 1, is non-functional. I've tried everything, reinstalling Windows using the cloud restore option from the bios, updating the drivers and firmware, updating to the latest BIOS, etc. Of course, I've tried manually setting a fan curve and Fan 1 still reports 0 RPM, whether in the bios or on the Armory Crate software on Windows. I guess I'll be sticking with my Steam Deck for the time being

    I’ve had this since it first came out and I have had so many issues with it. From the memory stick not working to the long start up times, this was not ready to hit the market. This is great when it is working, but half the time it doesn’t. If you are reading this, do not buy this or at least wait until this company fixes all the bugs.

    The Asus Rog Ally is known for overheating issues. I ended up returning this and getting the new OLED Steam deck from the steam store and I’m glad I did. Who puts an SD card under a heat sink? Also if you keep the Asus Rog turn your settings waaay down unless you want your SD card to melt.

    Slow, laggy, by time your downloaded with updates from games each session your out of battery power. Would not recommend. Super slow. When you do get a game going well it’s a matter of time before it shows lag. Waste of money. Son has steam deck and outperforms and long battery.

    Windows 11, do not recommend for beginner gamers. I was able to reset at home wifh64 GB through the Bios, but this shouldn’t be an issue 2 weeks after purchase. All my stuff had to be wiped clean

    Do not consider. Too expensive to not have a working SD Card Slot. Requires a larger NVME to really take advantage of the machine. I could RMA, but it appears those are taking quite some time, and you just a a pre owned machine back, no guarantees the slot in the "new" machine works long.
