    Where do I even start?

    Stick Dead zones is one issue still not fixed, and the SD card slot either burning out or destroying SD cards as well. There is no permanent solution and ASUS is dragging their feet. People want to love the product, but they are blind to the issues.

    Unoptimized $740 piece of garbage

    You know you would think a $740 device would work properly out of the box. Sound doesnt play out of the speakers after start up screen for games or basic UI. I’ve had to factory reset it 3 times! Wireless controllers dont connect without having to do a crazy amount tutorial watching on youtube. The games dont always load up in full screen despite having settings set up that way, and when it displays in windowed mode. Its always in a resolution that doesnt make sense for the device. Cloud saves for games have yet to synchronize so I can only play old saves for certain games rather than my most recent save. This console is a mess and ASUS should be ashamed.

    The game unit is great however there is a large number of handhelds that will not power on or take a charge. Unfortunately mine was one of them. I’ve only had the gaming unit for a month.

    The original software security locks the device you can install windows 10 or windows 11 again without the bitlock security from bogging down your handheld but you have to reinstall most drivers. Performance wise it was bottlenecking on basic games even old counter strike source. Overall it was overhyped.

    Loved but touch screen stopped working:(but loved playing on it i didn’t buy the geek squad so took it somewhere else and shipped it back for repairs said it would be around 250 min

    CURBSIDE Serviced is a disaster

    The product is excellent, although initial setup requires a moderate learning curve. However, the curbside pickup service is inefficient; three attempts resulted in order fulfillment only 15 minutes before closing. Customer service response times were also unsatisfactory. Dont advertise ready for pick up in a hour when in reality it takes a whole day save your self the trouble and time.

    I would rate this a zero but it’s not an option. For the price of this device it’s trash. It doesn’t work unless connected to our home Wi-Fi, which defeats the purpose of it being portable. Before the game loads the battery is almost drained.

    I bought a 1TB Micro SD card because I didn't want to have to open the device to upgrade the SSD. If it wasn't for that MASSIVE ISSUE, it would be 5 stars. If you buy this KNOW THAT THIS DEVICE (TECHNICALLY) HAS NO MICRO SD CARD SLOT!!!

    Looks great on paper and would have been S tier option for portable pc gaming, however the thermal issues cause the SD card reader to stop working and later caused the more damage to the internals that cause bugs and more issues.

    The games tend to be buggy, and crash occasionally. The system itself is a nice concept, but needs refinement. The control joysticks stopped working after a few months - glad I purchased the geek squad plan

    Beware of Common Defects

    Had to return left trackpad had factory defect that would only allow it to go up and down. Staff was great to work with but the defect is apparently very common.
