Broken fan found out 5 days too late

I'll see how that goes at least bestbuy gave me a number to call (1 star). ugh but device seemed to be running fine annoying win11 setup full of their ads. The issue with my device is that fan 2 (right side fan) does NOT spin (blow air) and device reads 0 rpms. I used the MyASUS system tool to test fan and sure enough it found 1 issue.

Steam deck at least can launch games

Cloud games do launch and play without issues, just the device has access to a working wireless network since poor and unstable internet connection will definitely affect system stability and performance. Not all the bugs worked out yet

Very disappointed

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or part that stop working prematurely under normal usage. The artifacts can easily be resolved by updating Windows and the video driver. Also, ensure internet connection is stable while playing from the cloud. Not quite there yet

This works great for smaller games but once you move into anything bigger than minecraft it just cannot run it well. I tried baldurs gate on the lowest settings possible and the unit got so hot trying to run it it would shut off. Maybe in a couple more years this will be possible but for now i guess im tethered to my computer.

Do not buy open box.

Unit was missing the power cord and charger. It was also mising the internal packaging alowing the unit to bang around in the box. Geek squad cerified is a joke.
