This handheld PC is awesome. It compute all of my gaming needs. It has great graphics. It has great battery life and it’s very modifiable.

I have had it for about 4 months and I absolutely love it. I play some cozy games, Mass Effect, and big AAA games like Elden Ring. Its a must for games who are in the move and don’t want to carry a heavy laptop. Power bank is a must!

I absolutely love this thing. I really didn't want to get a hand held at first mostly due to the fact I dislike small screens (I use my PC and other devices on my big tv). I ended up picking up the Z1 non-extreme on sale (which they still are for 400) and I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience is. Don't get me wrong a few things aren't perfect but its overall a solid experience. If you can afford it I would recommend the Z1 extreme version because it lets you play a whole host of other games this device with the normal Z1 cant play. Ive been playing alot of Dead Island 2 at 900p with medium to high settings with FSR on and its a very solid and playable experience!

The device is awesome, ran every game fairly well. My only complaint would be the short battery life.

I’m a dedicated Windows 11 user, and the Asus ROG Ally Z1 fits seamlessly into my gaming lifestyle—similar to a Steam Deck but with even smoother installation and gameplay. Upgrading the M.2 storage was a breeze, way easier than with other devices I've used. This machine delivers robust performance; I've enjoyed games like Helldivers 2 and even FF14 with frame rates that nearly mirror my desktop experience.If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the device’s need for consistent charging to maintain optimal power output. However, this is a minor inconvenience and easily manageable with a good backup battery pack. Overall, the Asus ROG Ally Z1 is a definite 5-star recommendation for anyone looking for powerful gaming on the go.

It’s super fun to play! It’s super worth the price if you want to play certain games but enjoy handheld better

It's powerful, but kept crashing. The user experience is not like the steam deck, but you have more raw power to play newer titles. I ended up returning it and going with the Steam Deck. Felt like a PC when the Steam Deck felt like a console.

Overall a good handheld device, instead of being a handheld console it’s more of a laptop with a gamepad instead of a keyboard and trackpad. It’s able to “play” most games but everything has to be set to low for a decent and stable frame rate. The Z1 Ally is great for medium-light gaming and emulation but if you want good performance I’d say go for the Z1 Extreme Ally

I absolutely love my Asus rog ally. Its nice to be able to play AAA games on the go. My only complaint is the battery life.

Great handheld for the price, i enjoyed playing it after a long day or taking it out when i knew i would have extra time to play.

Great handheld although battery life is short. Only issue I had was windows errors for using store/Xbox app. Make sure to sync your time correctly to solve this.

My rog ally z1 came in pristine and works great and play games I’ve had it for 1 year and it’s been doing good by me.

It's a great system running on Windows 11. I have not played a game yet. That I could not handle works perfectly. I still would like to try it against the legion. Go but so far so good My only complaint. Not enough memory

Runs games well as long as you don't expect too much. Great for indie titles and older triple A titles. A couple of software hiccups that were mildly annoying but not a deal breaker

This was a great purchase. It replaced my gaming desktop as this was more convenient. Youre not going to get high frame rates but with a bit adjusting, almost all of them are playable. Storage is easily upgradable.

Works really well for so of my gaming needs. Runs very quickly. Battery dies fairly quickly but only while playing games.

Had a Steam Deck before and this blows it out of the water. Mainly because most of the games I wanted to play on it did not work on the Steam Deck for various reasons. Highly recommend.

Awsome little handheld gaming pc. If you know your way around a computer it will run anything. Playing cyberpunk 2077 at iver 40fps laying in bed is awsome. Recomed for on the go gaming or siting with family.
