It was an early gift for me so i could quit reaching for my phone. It does alot check out youtube for some amazing tutorials.

the shape is different and somewhat the sound

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The shape is currently different then the regular 39.99 dollar alexia that has an oval shape but I guess with this shape the sound echos more I couldn't really tell the difference but what I could tell is that this looks much cooler to place onto a desk unlike a regular alexia which yes, you can hang on the wall or even put on a desk but with this ovel looking thing some people might find it unattractive.

Good for audiobooks/podcasts during chores

We primarily use it to listen to audiobooks or podcasts while cooking/cleaning in the kitchen. The set took some trial and error but overall it works well for our purposes. We played with the Alexa function for a while (for the novelty) but prefer not to use it that way. No issues during the day or so that we tried it out - it's just not appealing to us.
