I literally have had to unplug and restart device at least once a week since purchasing. I've only had to do that to my 2nd gen perhaps once or twice per year.

Sponsored advertisements occasionally show up on the screen. There is a way to disable them for the most part. I like how you can access the internal camera and display your photos. The screen is a bit small for displaying photos however. If that is a dealbreaker you can always go with their next size up.

With my old alexa, there were persistent issues when connecting to spotify, and it's still the same problem with this newer model. I also use this to check up on my cats remotely, and the design on the app is just not that intuitive. I think the idea of this product has a lot of potential, but the execution simply lacks
