I have 5 Alexa devices, and only this model gives me issues. Reaching out to Amazon’s tech support was a waste, and really they just wanted to update me to a larger model but I need this specifically for its size. I use it in the bathroom and it’s very handy when it’s not freezing. Being able to get a daily overview while brushing my teeth is amazing.

We are sorry you are not enjoying the Echo Show 5. Tech Support may have talked you through Wifi best practices, but your device may need a software update that you can check for in settings. If the bathroom is a low connectivity point in your home this could be causing the freezing. If it is next to the window or interacting with any elements, that could also be it.

I can’t believe how good it sounds and I wasn’t sure if she’d figure out how to use it. I was wrong- once I set it up, she has been using it every day since and loves it.
