It does accomplish that, but it is slow even at that. I would not recommend for anything needing more power or speed.

It can't even open a Google Chrome tab in less than 5 minutes. Not even worth it for a budget laptop as it literally can't do anything.

Very slow, doesn’t allow steam

I timed it, it took 5 whole minutes to open the search engine, and another 5 minutes to load my search, just for it to not even work. It’s tough to download things, and if you would like to download steam to play games on, this computer does not allow it. The settings were also frustratingly slow to change, I had to change my name several times after a typo before it actually stuck. The weather menu also kept popping up despite me not ever clicking it. I had high hopes for this, and was disappointed, I do not recommend :((

Posted .Hello, EEFF. We are sorry to hear that your IdeaPad 1 has not met your expectations. This model, along with other entry level laptops, ships with Windows 11 in S-Mode. A more secure, lighter version of the Windows 11 Operating System that only allows the downloading of applications from the Microsoft Store. If you try to launch or install an executable or .exe file, the system prevents it. This was returned and i was refunded. I believe if it didnt have any hardware issues that it would be best used for google workspace.
