    I wanted to love this straightener, but it didn't effectively smooth my hair, and never held a charge for even half as long as advertised. Eventually, it stopped holding a charge at all, so I only used it while plugged in. Now, it won't even work plugged in. Don't waste your money

    It worked perfectly for 3 months and then it stoped charging the battery, I have contacted Dyson support and they said the issue is the charger, it showed up and still not working.

    Not a product review, but a Best Buy review. I ordered this item to be delivered next day. This was the only reason I ordered it from Best Buy. I actually ordered the Dyson air straight. Upon processing the order suddenly it switched to the Dyson corralle. The item wasn’t delivered the next day, or the day after that, it was delivered three days late by a DoorDash driver. Nobody in the chat could give me a straight answer about anything. They couldn’t understand my request and gave me robotic answers that did not align with my questions. It was a disaster of an experience. The item didn’t even come from a Best Buy warehouse. It came from some outsourced Warehouse. I would not trust them. Don’t order from Best Buy.

    15 day return policy is horrible. BestBuy lowered price substantially 18 days after purchase and would not price match. Recommend buying elsewhere.

    Overpriced and Underwhelming Hair Straightener

    I recently purchased this hair straightener expecting top-notch performance given its high price tag, but I was sorely disappointed. Not only did it fail to live up to its promises, but it also performed no better than much cheaper alternatives on the market. Firstly, the heating time is ridiculously long, making the whole process of straightening my hair a tedious and time-consuming ordeal. Additionally, the results were underwhelming at best, as my hair didn't stay straight for long and often became frizzy shortly after using the product.

    Truly disappointed.. spent a lot of money , too much to be honest. I returned it. My hair felt no different with this product than it did with my drybar flatiron.

    I bought this for my wife. I thought this was the best brand and straightener out there. As soon as she used it, a black plastic type thing on the side of the plate started to come off. It would expand and come off the plate when it was hot. Once it cooled down, it would go back to normal. I returned it and got a new one. I will update in a few weeks.

    Oh my gosh do not waste your $. I can get a better straight job with a $20 Ross straightener from Hong Kong. This is so not worth the price. Maybe 5 years from now I’ll notice less breakage but who cares. My hair will be frizzy and look stupid till then.

    In the box is the straightener, a foldable stand, the power cord, an instructional booklet and informational QR codes. First impression - This straightener is a little on the heavy side, the cord is super long and I am love with magnetic charging plug. Out of the box, I plugged in straightener because when I turned it on, it dinged at me and showed me the charge symbol. I wasn’t really paying attention to it but when you charge, the small light is ember. After 45 minutes, I noticed there was no light anymore, so I turned it on and the light was green and the display showed the battery was full and the wanted me to set the straightener temperature. Just a little disclaimer, I have biracial, super thick, 3a/3b hair and its super frizzy. I haven’t been flat ironing my hair for a while now because I have to have high heat to completely straighten my hair and it normally has a burnt smell the whole time I am wearing it straight and I really hate that. It normally takes me about one to two hours (that includes the drying time) to perfectly straighten my hair. Because my hair is so thick, I have to straighten thinner pieces and it have the run the flat iron through my hair ten times to get my hair smooth. I normally flat iron my hair at 450 degrees but the Dyson only goes to 410 degrees. I put heat protectant in my hair and blew it dry and then I straightened the first few pieces of sectioned hair and it straightened really good. Like better than the salon good. So I started to do larger pieces and figured out that if I go really slow, I only have to go through my hair with one swipe. The battery almost lasted the whole time but since I have really long hair, I figured I would probably have to charge. I ended up letting it charge for about 15 minutes and then I finished the rest of my hair. Once I finished, I was an awe. My hair hasn’t been this easy and as straight with little effort in a long time and now that I have all of the products, I can definitely see myself wearing my hair straight a little more often now. There was a slight freshly pressed smell but no where nearly as bad as it used to be. On day 3 with my straight hair, I did need to straighten some pieces on the back of my neck and around my hairline and I was able to straighten them with less heat. Overall, I LOVE this product and I would recommend it to friends and family! I can definitely see myself buying again!

    Beautifully designed heavy-duty hair straightener

    The Dyson Corrale hair straightener is beautifully and thoughtfully designed like no hair straightener I have seen before. This hair straightener can be used cordless for 2-3 times when fully charged (depending on how long it takes to style your hair), and can be used with the charging cord attached. You can use the charger and cord alone, or with the charging dock, handy if you want to store the straightener on your counter. The cord has a clever magnetic attachment. The Corralle comes in a beautiful midnight blue storage pouch and is loaded with safety features. Its design prevents you from burning your hands or face when using the straightener, plus a travel switch that prevents the appliance from heating when stored. Unlock the straightener, press the on button, and select one of the three heat settings. the unit heats in just a few seconds—no kidding! When done, press the on/off button and a light flashes until the unit is safely cooled. Set the travel switch if needed, lock it, and store it in its case or on he charging dock. I live in a humid climate that is not kind to my coarse, wavy hair. I typically let my hair dry naturally and apply a protective hair product before using an electric straightener. I tried the Dyson appliance on three different days and used each of the three heat settings. I need the medium and height heat settings to style my hair with a slight curl on the ends. This straightener seems to let me style my hair faster than my usual straightener, with less total heat, possibly preventing long-term damage. Pros: great design, precise temperature control, flexible straightening plates, safety features, heavy-duty charger and power cord, fast heating and faster than normal hair styling. Cons: much heavier than the typical hair straightener, bulky and heavy charger, dock and cord are not the best if you want to travel light. Quite costly. I would rate this straightener a 5 if not for these two issues.

    This is not a good product. It doesn’t get the root of the hair. Leaves hair frizzy and it take way too long to blow dry and straighten the hair. It only allows you to grab little pieces of hair. So if you have long, thick, curly hair, it doesn’t work well. Also in my opinion not user friendly. Do not recommend!
