Lenovo didn't update the system for about 6 moths. I sold this device 2 weeks ago and when I sold it it's still on April security patch.

You have to go through a syncing process every time you use the pen. tablet takes forever to boot up. to have such decent RAM and such little storage you would think it would boot much faster. it does not. slow as molasses. battery is mediocre; the large screen eats it up pretty quick. overall I think the 12.7 in screen is Overkill for a tablet and I regret getting it. I am not very happy with this purchase but I will not return it because I find it to be too much of a hassle.

Buying an openbox from them should still have the same warranty but the charging port I just noticed it this week and it wiggle a bit. I bought it 1st week of March and did not notice the return policy is just 2 weeks. How about the warranty?

Received a defective one which manual reset screen is in a loop. Researched on the communities and apparently this is a common defect. Brought it to Geek squad there is nothing they can do and unable to switch to another one. Contacted Lenovo customer supports and could not reach their customer services to stay on the phone.

I read the review and I had some doubts especially battery, but I gave it a try (ordered a full kit), and I can send it back if I don't like it. I received a kit and I did some test especially on cable channels and streaming. I am glad it works well. Display is crisp (it can take 1440p), and I can't tell the color difference between this unit and P11 Pro Gen 2 under indoor light. Speakers are good and USB-C port supports analog and digital audio, but it doesn't support TV out due to USB 2.0 standard. The full kit looks much like a netbook but keyboard is actually good, but touchpad has some issue of clicking by mistake. ZUI is new on this unit and I think I like it, but 3 button navigation is always on the right bottom and I don't know how to change it, so I use gesture instead (and it works better when playing videos). Included pen cannot be used on older Lenovo Android tablet (P11 Plus, Yoga 11, P11 Pro Gen 2). You can attach the pen on the back but the pen included requires USB-C charging. The unit can take USB-PD charging and it charges rather quickly. Battery isn't that bad as online reviews and I am a heavy user. So you ask me should I recommend it? Yes if you use it for media and light laptop use (it's like netbook). You won't be disappointed.

Lenovo Pad 12 Review

Every now and then it will glitch for a second if you turn it back on automatically in computer mode, but all you have to do is remove the keyboard, and put it back on, and the screen comes on normally. Other than that, it’s working at a good pace, and is very straight forward to use. :)
