I did not have a good experience with this purchase. I returned it within 24 hours. The device was very laggy and also has poor sound quality. The controls take somw getting used to but are good all around. I did research as to why it performed so poorly, apparently there are a lot of settings you have to go in and change and tweak to get it to work properly. This should not be the case. As a gift for a kid who enjoys low impact games or simply as a upgrade from a tablet I could recommend it. But for someone who loves enjoyable casual gaming on the go, it will be a hard toss up. I personally do not recommend this item. But it may be due to my bias of my gaming pc.

Character in every game was stuck moving left in every game i played. Making every game unplayable. Took back after one day. Also light would not turn on. Screen looks nice and graphics look good. I feel the controller attachments seem very low quality compared to the main unit that seems to be well made. Audio is very poor compared to the competition.

It’s a cool device, I bought it originally for my brother as a gift , but since it was too uncomfortable for him I had to return it. The ergonomics really hold back how good this device could be.

This thing crashes and freezes so often that it gets annoying, too expensive to be doing any of that and on top of it, theirs been times where settings change on its own and some games says error when trying to download, its a good device but for the price and all the negative things it comes with makes it so bad. This device is overhyped in my opinion not worth all the $$$

Bought an open box excellent Legion Go. At first glance looked great. Had all documentation and didint seemed used at all. Unfortunately once turned on things weren't quite as good. My major concern was the the left joystick RGB wsn't working. Not sure how that was missed or why this unit would be qualified as excellent. Second the screen was not very responsive not terrible but no very snappy. After this first impression I had to returned it.

I just got my item delivered after it was delayed for a week. Open it up and it has multiple dead pixels and a terrible screen overall. Not happy, the few games i tested were subpar…. The Z1 extreme cant handle mew titles at 1200 or 1600p (2 of the 3 default resolutions) and 800p looks twrrible. Updating the device is junk (online via lenovos website) this is not at all a finished product and just doesnt have the juice for modern titles ag good resolution and high FPS

This really needs vrr, a portrate display, more comfortable controllers, and an overhaul to the fan system. On the quiet setting there's a distinct high pitched whine that none of the other major handhelds have. I like the concept a lot, I think there's hope for the next iteration.

Received my unit on 11/3 ran updates, multiple reboots and installed all of my games overnight. I went to play the unit this morning and it had another Windows update that wanted to reboot. Now it crashes non stop, will not go into safe mode or even get past the Legion logo. The couple of hours I was able to use it while downloading games it seems okay, but the Legion software is wonky for sure. After looking into the issue further it appears the hard drive is defective. Returning and will see what happens.

I had nothing but problems from the moment i turned it on. Riddled with connectivity issues (Bluetooth and WiFi). Issues with windows updates. Getting games to play decently was a chore. I know windows can be an issue with these handhelds but i returned it and bought the ROG Ally X and it has out performed the GO by miles. I really wanted the Legion Go to work out because I love the form factor, detachable joysticks, and bigger screen but unfortunately it did not.
