Powerful and the mouse pad is nice. I thought the removable controllers would be nice but they're more of a hassle. Doesn't work well hooked up to a TV or monitor. Unit is too built and heavy. Right controller broke after a year.

This handheld provides an excellent Windows gaming experience. Battery life could be improved for longer play sessions. A larger internal battery would enhance portability. Users desiring extended playtime should consider a 65W power bank or higher. Power banks less than 65W won't charge it.

Pros: big display, good controls, nice detachable controllers. Bad: weak sound, too heavy (does not feel comfortable to hold for long time), some games don’t start up with software.

Love the screen an over all build feels good in the hands.still needs software fixes. Don't care for all the extra buttons. Recommend downloading fx sound from Microsoft store makes the sound alot better they could fix with an update but who knows when also make sure to set the power button to hibernate if not when u plug it in inside the case it will trun on an get hot. If u thinking about getting this or the rog ally there both good rog is smaller an light an the go has a big screen that makes windows a little easier i think u will be happy with either one but thats also if you know how to use windows if ur looking for a more console like experience go with a steam deck its more plug an play. The go an ally are stronger but the steam deak is still very good an has thousands of games to play the would recommend oled.

This checks all my boxes. Built in kickstand, detachable controllers with gyro, touchpad on right controller, black color design, big high res 144 hz display, and egpu support. Only negative is speakers are very quiet and vrr would have been nice to have.

I love this thing! There is a learning curve but for mobile gaming, this thing does it all. As an xbox gamer, xbox ultimate works great with the LeGo. Im still trying to adjust to Steam app. Great screen which makes using it as a windows laptap very easy.

The overall device is great. Sold my Rog Ally and picked this up. Rog Ally also had plenty of issues when it first released, as the Legion Go currently has. The software is buggy, joystick dead zones but Lenovo has already said they’re working to address these issues. There’s been a couple of updates that have helped the software a bit but it still needs work. Give Lenovo time to polish this up the way ASUS did with their device. The screen is big and beautiful, which was the most important part for me. FPS mode is pretty good as well. SD card reader has been holding strong (take note ASUS). Overall, very happy with the device. Looking forward to Lenovo polishing it up some more.

I only have two complaints about the OG Legion Go: The screen and the driver support. The screen is a native portrait mode tablet screen, which is whatever, but the resolution and refresh rate are way too high relative to the power of the Legion Go. It would be better as a 900p screen with maybe 120 hz. Lenovo's driver support for the OG Go is basically nonexistent, so if you want regular updates, just swap from Windows to Bazzite or SteamOS.

      Hi JoshuaR-

Thank you for choosing Lenovo and sharing your feedback with us. We are excited to hear that you are enjoying the Legion Go. We aim to provide excellent user experience for our products, and we would love to recommend a few actions you can take to improve your experience.

Firstly, the Legion Go comes with the ability to change resolution to the user's preference. To start select the hexagonal Options key located on the right controller, under Resolution you can adjust to your preferred resolution based off the content on the display. We have noted your comments regarding the refresh rate of the display and may use these comments to improve future products.

Regarding your concern on driver updates and support, we would like to share that Lenovo is currently working on continuing to supply updates to the Legion Go, with the last update releasing in December with more planned to improve graphics performance and overall system performance.

Please reach out to us through the Q & A section of this product page if you have any questions or need assistance.

      Best wishes,

Very convenient for a parent. Since it's so mobile, I can play while the little guy sleeps in my arms. Battery doesn't last too long if it's unplugged but I wasn't expecting much. Over all, great purchase.

Definitely takes a few youtube videos and tweaks, but as a steam deck owner as well, this thing is a beast. My only complaint with any handheld is the battery life. But this device is well worth the price and learning curve.

Overall the Go has been great for me. compared to the ROG Ally the screen is amazing, and while it doesn't have VRR it has still been pretty good for me. Another huge difference compared to the Ally is the speakers. Frankly speaking the Ally speakers are light years ahead of the Go speakers, and they are upward firing instead of facing towards you. Especially early on the software always needs a lot of work, and there are many things that need worked on. So far Lenovo has done an alright job of updates to the Legion Space app so hopefully everything else follows.

Hi, Devonte. Thank you for choosing Lenovo! Regarding the battery life, depending on the demand of the game you're playing; by pressing the Legion R button to launch the quick menu, you can switch to lower power mode to save battery. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button). We are glad to know that you are otherwise liking your Legion Go, and we appreciate your time taken to share your experience and feedback with us. Lenovo

Bought mine used in excellent condition. Its working well so far. Ive only run into a few things. If I dont let it load long enough when i first boot it up then the keyboard wont pull up. And for awhile there i was having issues with it suddenly shutting down while i was playing, but fixing some settings in BIOS seems to have midigated that so far.
