If you enjoy tech and have experience with Windows this is the perfect device. It’s basically a laptop in handheld form and you can use it as your day-to-day PC. I love it I’m currently playing AAA games like Death Stranding, Hellblade, GTA V, Marvel Midnight Suns and other with no hiccups and really amazing graphics for a handheld. Awesome purchase!

The controls took a little getting used to because they are bulky, but very comfortable. I've not had any issues with any games on it except 1 older game which I still have till this day, an early ps3 era game but I think it's just driver related and I have not dug into it much. Very happy with my purchase. The battery lasts about 2 hours playing starfield, haven't tested it out in less demanding haha yet.

I don’t think I would’ve been as happy if I paid full price. The built-in software that comes from Lenovo is crap. They are attempting to update it but it’s very slow for them to get updates out. The unit itself has plenty of power and with a little know how you can even unlock it to a much higher wattage to get even a few more FPS. Lenovo stop selling beta products at full price!

Software Needs Improvement

While the launch has been a buggy mess due to outdated graphic drivers with a few select games the overall experience has been phenomenal. The screen alone makes the Go a better hand held device on its own. Granted the software is half baked I’m certain Lenovo will improve over time. I have no regrets in returning the Ally. If you are not someone who wants to spend time optimizing this device. Get a steam deck.

The large screen is perfect, and the extra usb connection allows for additional things that can be plugged in while the other is charging the unit. Drivers and SW are being worked on continually which only makes the unit better over time. Using for retro and modern gaming, and no major issues seen to date. The 1 TB drive is a must, especially for modern games.

I used to have the Steam Deck but I decided to get this console instead and I do not regret getting The Lenovo Legion Go. I love how you can use this as a PC and Gaming console. This is by far my best investment ever Shout out to Best Buy and Lenovo!!! Highly Recommend this product!!

Love the size of the screen. Definite boon for my old man eyes. Also, since it's just a portable Windows PC, it's easier to pack than my laptop when I have to travel for work.

We strive to provide the best experience possible, and now that you're familiar with your system, we'd like to work with you to try to improve your experience with battery life.
Regarding the battery life, depending on the demand of the game you're playing, by pressing the Legion R button to launch the quick menu, you can switch to lower power mode to save battery. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button).

Ran solid, but returned

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was a solid device just a bit overpriced, ran everything i threw at it well besides madden, looked on reddit and there are tons of pages on how the Z1 extreme chip doesnt run madden well so i don’t necessarily blame the Go but i would rather just wait for the next generation or something stronger, but i honestly loved the size and weight of this felt very well made. Also would not work with any car charger i threw at it even one rated 65W
