I got this new second generation an outdoor camera because the one I had went on the fritz. I was told it was a known issue but they sent me a new one of the same camera anyway so at this point I'm hoping this one doesn't start doing what the other one was doing so far so good.

Theres a ton of options. I had to find one for my parents where the app was easy to use and easy to charge, understand the process to charge and put back up. It fit all the criteria and has been working great so far the last 7 months!

I have a couple of these along with some of the much more expensive Arlo Pro 4 and 5 cameras. This camera will give you a reliable 1080p video with good battery life. Battery life depends greatly on how active the camera has to be. If it is in a high traffic area spend the money to get he solar panel to power it.

This camera works great, the picture and sound is high quality. Easy installation. We added the solar charging panel which is convenient. The only issue I have is on the app. I have set up my activity zones but still get alerts for movement outside those zones.

I love my Arlo and all its functions , it records movements , very clear , good for safety purposes.

The audio is good, the video is clear. 2 downsides, it’s not real-time, probably has about 1-2 sec delay. Also, you need to have various subscription. For smart detection, you have to pay for subscription, on top of that, you also need to pay another subscription to have access to it’s 24/7 recording.

Pretty good camera, pretty good picture. Don't like that you have to pay a subscription to enjoy all bells and whistles of the camera, but it is pretty good indeed.

very clear picture, easy to set up price excellent should have had this long time ago also bought a solar so I don't have to climb up to recharge the camera

I got this camera to fill a noted blind spot. I started with the wired doorbell, then installed a spotlight camera after someone got into my car. Then at my wifes suggestion, we got the camera package. This was great until a neighbor told her that someone tried to open her front window, so my wife said we should get one more. All work great, but hooking up a sixth camera was a little more cumbersome and it changed the way you can view the feeds. Other than that, I would have given it 5 stars.

I have had several Arlo cameras over the years, indoor, outdoor, with replaceable battery and now this one with rechargeable battery. Great quality, works as described, easy connection to home network and App.

I appreciate how clear the quality is. I have had my Arlo for years and needed another one for my back yard and you can tell the difference of video quality right away from my older version which is not even something I thought was an issue from my last one.
