Tablet purchased May 30, 2024. Mainly used to read books, and download netflix to watch while traveling. Started having issues with the A9's wi-fi, a couple of months after purchase. Noticed webpages taking longer to load, and wi-fi connectivity kept getting slower and slower. I'd notice the wifi icon go from white, connected, and then go gray, disconnected, every 10 seconds. I'd stand by my home router with no improvement. Supposedly, the tablet has a 1 year warranty. Called Samsung Support on October 15, and was told it would be covered under warranty. I shipped it to their repair center, and they received it. 7 days later I receive an email (10/22) stating that after careful consideration, they decided that it's not under warranty. No explanation as to why it's not under warranty. I paid $269 for this, and they want to charge me $172 to fix it. It's only 5 months old. I tried calling Samsung that same day, and was in the call queue on hold for 30 minutes, when the call dropped. That happened twice. Decided to call first thing in the morning, when they opened. Called and was on hold 27 minutes, before the call was dropped. Called right back, and got through. Checked email (10/23), and saw that Samsung is shipping unrepaired tablet back to me, still no explanation. Spoke to Samsung Customer Service and the rep was able to give me an explanation. He stated that warranty was voided due to motherboard damage, due to impact, and that it would need replacing. I keep a case on the tablet. It may have dropped from my desk, onto the carpeted floor maybe twice. The wi-fi chip is soldered on the motherboard. The only way to replace anything on this tablet, is to replace the entire motherboard. All components are soldered on. Very convenient to use this as an excuse to void warranty. Wish I'd looked at the complaints on reddit, because evidently poor wi-fi connectivity is a common issue with this model of tablet. Avoid Samsung. Some may say that I should have handled with care better. I'm an adult, so I don't intentionally drop my electronic devices. I paid too much money to be careless. But you live an learn. Last Samsung product for me. This is the second Samsung product that I own, that didn't live up to expectation.

I would gove this tablet 5 stars if it booted instantly. It's got a great screen and is easy to navigate.

This is one of the best tablets I've ever owned. Worth every penny, really reliable and sturdy. I use it for work and recommend it to anybody looking for a work tablet.

This is a great tablet, does all i need it to do. Like the dex capabilities. Acts almost like a laptop.

The tablet is excellent. The battery life, picture and sound quality are outstanding. The only drawback was that recharging was taking up to 3 hours. I bought a charger specific to the tablet and now it charges quickly

Great budget tab with reasonable price and good for day to day activities

I bought this is as a present for my niece but ended up getting myself one as well. The build is solid, especially at the lower cost. Its great for browsing, shopping and streaming videos. Only down side so far is that it could be a bit slow but otherwise, Id definitely recommend

One of the high spec of Samsung Galaxy tab that really give us the quality that we need from a tablet. Such as long life of it’s battery and quality of sound or music.

A great wifi tablet for my needs. Fast, lots of space, and easy to use. My only gripe is that it's a bit too large to fit into my purse to carry everywhere.

I bought this for my kids but eventually realized its such a great tablet that I use it more than them! Have used it on a trip already great response time, Super easy to use great display and sound and most of the price! Definitely worth it!

Plenty of sound out of speakers. Can't think of anything negative to say about it so far. purchased as open box item. got the book case and glass screen protector as well

Works very well but the outer case for protection is kinda wonky. It was a purple outer case which I can't remember the manufacturers name
