Item is wonderful! Installation was a nightmare. I had to pay another $200+ to have a plumber come to install because the non-English speaking delivery men "claimed" they could not do it. The plumber said that it was so simple and easy I could have done it (though obviously I didn't know this and would not have tried to install a gas appliance).

Good products -- meet all my needs. 1. There is "air flow" indicator which is a very good safety feature if your laundry room (like mine) located in the middle of the house, not right next to outside wall. A super long air venting pipe could be get blocked without notice and might cause fire. The air flow indicator will remind users when we need to hire professional to clean up the air vent pipe. 2. Machine auto shut off after drying cycle completed. The digital control panel remains shut off for you to open door to unload the clothes which help save electricity, this might be the reason why this machine does not has light in the drum. 3. Door bottom portion positions high enough to allow you to put laundry basket right in front of the machine and open the door directly & smoothly without touching the door. 4. There is nice chime when the drying cycle completed which is easier for you to know drying is done (without going to the machine to check progress) when your are not close the the machine.

So far this dryer has been good. I wanted a no-frills basic unit but most at this tier are crap. The controls and workmanship on the LG have the feel of a much more expensive and feature rich dryer. I haven't used timed drying but the sensor drying has been less than perfect, usually it works well but once or twice it needed a little more drying time. If you're looking for a basic dryer, this is the one to get.

Love my LG dryer. When set properly, it drys the clothes perfectly. Like that the filter is in the front. Makes it easier to clean.

I have only used the timed dry setting so far, but it seems effecient, especially for the massive amount of laundry in a load. I think it is one of the better choices in its comparable price range

Very nice color and quality. Modern but very Easy to use for those who want to stay away from the digital world. I’m truly enjoying my new toy.

So far all has been great. Love the size of the dryer. It ability to dry on the first cycle and ease of operation. Enjoy the lint screen placement makes for easy cleanup.

Drys a Queen size thick blanket with no problem. Towels no problem. Jeans no problem. Delivery and installation was great. Was a little worried after reading the negative reviews. Now all the worries went away

This is a sturdy, simple, efficient gas dryer. No fancy bells and whistles. I don't feel like I should be a computer programmer to operate this machine and yet it has all the features I need.
