    I bought this on sale, I hope it was not a bad purchase. I used to be a fan of Dell, but my last few purchases I feel cheated. You have to buy the Ram from Dell, or it will not work. Most people never upgrade their laptop or desktops, but I am not one of them. I gave my grandson the Alienware gaming desktop and had to pay 3X times the price for the Proprietary memory. The same was true with my 8940 XPS. It runs good and was on sale, so I took the chance.

    I got what I paid for. Overall functional for basic computing and light work. The construction does look and feel very cheap and flimsy. Pressing into the keyboard and you can see and feel the indentation with each keystroke. Feels like a laptop from the early 2000s but at least the monitor is big and processor works as advertised.
