    We purchased 2 of these Dell laptops for our daughters to use in high school. One started giving us problems within a couple months: some of the keys stopped working reliably (e.g., "T", "Y", and backspace). Aside from the keys on one of the laptops, this model is acceptable for high school level work, but it's not great. The keyboard is too spongey and the build quality seems just "ok."

    Great laptop for students. My daughter uses it for college, and it's lightweight and great for classwork. Only down side is that it's battery is drained after 2 hours. You need to have the charger with you at all times and an outlet source nearby.
