No warranty support

Dell denied warranty due to “Buying from Best Buy” their words as warranty starts from the day they buy it. Manufacturer date was 3/21/24 and bought on 5/17/24. The battery won’t hold a charge which is a common issue on this model. Outside of the lack of warranty they also said they would deny it due to damage internally on the battery connector to motherboard. Proved them wrong on it and now it’s due to damaged usb port ( have never used the usb port) then say it’s the usb on the other side which again has never been used. They do not stand behind their product and fabricate excuses but can’t prove anything is damaged. The establishment they had me take it to also reported no damaged and denied claiming there was. I was in the place and by the associate on speaker phone who reported no damage. Dell had the nerve to call me after that convo and tell me the establishment reports there is damage. Dell continues to try to fabricate lies to deny a simple battery replacement. Do you think they will stand behind their product after you buy it? Think hard before buying anything from Dell. Outside of the lack of support for a known defect the performance was worse than another laptop I have that’s over 10 years old. Pure junk

Can’t use because of a mode.

I’m unable to and am going to have to return it. I can’t believe this is something I can’t get out of and it makes this laptop unusable. I called the Microsoft support line and they were unable to figure it out as well.
