Rog ally x is actually a really interesting and amazing handheld PC device. It’s excellent for gaming I’m able to run GTA five Call of Duty® cyberpunk 2K any game you can think of without any issue while on the go, I’ve tested and used it myself multiple times while playing GTA or Call of Duty® from my iPhone hotspot and I’ve never had any issues with lag or glitching or anything it’s also good for being able to use as a main PC if you get an extended monitor and a ROG ally docking station and keyboard and. Mouse connect them together overall I would recommend this if you are looking for a PC only go and or are looking to play PC games while I only go whether it’s traveling on a plane or you know you are on a road trip or do you just wanna leave your house and you obviously can’t take your PC with you. You can take you’re rog ally with you overall after using it and even taking it to Japan with me and being able to get on the plane, I would definitely recommend this and I would give it a 10 out of 10

Works great, plays great, lots of space and easy to carry around. My only real complaint is its hard to navigate if you connect it to a tv via hdmi if you dont have some sort of controller but as a hand held its great.

This device has really impressed me with its performance and sleek design, especially for a handheld. The display is vibrant and responsive, which makes gaming super enjoyable, and the long battery life is a huge plus for extended sessions. Overall, it feels like a great investment for both casual and more serious gamers. Would be on the lookout for quality control issues.

Best handheld I think on the market. Holds up against everything I throw at it. Has 120hz vrr screen with is perfect for smooth gameplay

I had the Legion Go before this and in my opinion I prefer this ROG Ally X for the battery life and ergonomics. It can also run any Triple A games relatively well.

For starters I arely write reviews, but seeing the low reviews, I figured I would give a review. I have a steam deck and a rog ally x now. I didn’t have a problem with shipping. I bought it on launch day and recieved it the next day. No issues with shipping. Coming from a steam deck, the user experience is very much different. From a steam deck the user experience is much more user freindly. Much for a casual gamer. You can definitely do a bunch of things(very much equal) on the eog ally, but as a user experience I very much enjoyed the steam deck. As for the rog ally, its been a bit tuff to navigate. It requres you to he a little more hands on. Its not as butter like steam os, but considering the rog ally is running windows 11, its bound to be a bit jittery/ unpolished. The ergonomics feels great in the hand. As for battery its very good! Gaming on the device does require a little tinkering with settings but nothing you can’t do. Overall if you’re a casual gamer who just want to play some games with minor tweaking (albeit some games would not run at all) I would go with a steam deck. In the other gand if you’re someone who wants to play tripple A titles and doesn’t mind tinkering with the awful windows 11, I highly recommend the rog ally.

I feel like this is a pretty niche piece of tech, that isn't made for most gamers. For me, it fit perfectly! I travel a fair bit and hate having to lug around a big gaming laptop. However, I also like to do work. You might think that this doesn't seem like it would be great for productivity, and you'd be right. However, I paired it with a dock, keyboard, mouse, and a portable monitor. Now I have the choice to pack a small gaming device for short trips or a whole desktop setup for longer trips. Not for everyone, but great for me and my weird applications. Side Note: It performs really well for the price

Love it! I owned the original Rog Ally Z1E but while I loved the performance, I hated the battery life. This refreshed model pretty much took care of that complaint. The performance is still great and the increase in RAM and speed makes all the games I play run a lot smoother. I have big hands and I find the increase in size and weight preferable to the original Rog Ally.

Have always been interested in PC game so I started with a steam deck didn’t like that because I had too many issues with the games. Then I got the Rog ally X it plays everything so smooth looks great battery last long. Currently playing black myth Wukong and I must say it runs amazing on the Rog ally X. It’s a must buy!!!!

It works good. For a portable pc it runs well and runs all the games well. It only runs good fps at low settings for triple A games. Don’t expect high performance but if you don’t might lower fps at high settings than it’s good.

Great device. Plays most games well. Completely rejuvenated my love for gaming after i was feeling burn out. Being able to lay on your back in bed and play zomboid and helldivers is great!

I was originally out looking for a gaming laptop for a trip I was taking but got the idea that this might be better. I was absolutely right. The portability is all o needed. Of course mange expectations when grabbing a handheld console but even then, it still surprises me how well it can run games like call of duty

Awesome gaming PC!!! I’m able to play modern Wayfair on it, and even connect my external monitor with keyboard and mouse. Also I was able to connect my VR headset to it and play VR games!!! I even use it as an office pc. Just an amazing device with great battery life! Highly recommend it!

This is such a great console. It feels good in my hands, excellent battery life, graphics, and runs games smoothly. Sometimes there are minor issues since its operating system is windows but very minor. If youre between which handheld console to get, I'd highly recommend it.

Highly recommend, runs beautifully great color and graphics, long battery life and the perfect handheld system to use when you’re on the go, would highly suggest this device over comparable systems from competitors.

I had been holding off on getting into PC gaming because of how much I travel and already having a work laptop to lug around. This gave me the opportunity not to be held down to a desk, but still have that desktop tower power. Depending on what game and how you run it effects the battery life, but unplugged I'm getting any where from minimum an hour playing Doom Dark Ages at 1080p to two hours on games like Baldurs Gate 3 or Expedition 33. Any other games that are less demanding like Visions of Mana are upwards of four hours. I've even tried my personal laptop in favor of using the ROG Ally X to take care of editing pictures and doing other projects utilizing windows. The only negative things I could say would be your typical PC oversights like making sure your drivers are up to date.

Super convenient. Storage could be slightly better but overall very nice.

My favorite device I have. I travel for work and have school. I have my home computer sync to this and can work on assignments either on the device, on a tv or another portable monitor. Once I'm done I game on it. Don't forget a docking station. That makes it well worth the price.
