Better battery, run a good selection of games like black myth wukong

Awesome handheld. I haven't had a games on it that it can't handle yet. Definitely worth the purchase

I have a gaming PC, but after sitting at a desk and working on a computer all day, sometimes I'd rather chill on the couch or in bed to game. I had been eyeing the original Ally since it was first released, but I decided I didn't need it since I have a Steam Deck. Well ever since the release of 7DTD with no option of cross-play, my wife has officially stolen it. On a whim, I decided to pick this up and maaaan have I been blown away by its performance. It has a downright stunning display that matches my gaming monitor. I haven't had to tweak anything, and I've experienced zero lag thus far. I am thrilled with this sucker and while I can't compare it to the OG, I'm extremely happy with this upgrade despite the higher price tag. Don't think, just buy lol.

Great for on the go gaming and can run most games at medium settings at 60fps. It does have Bluetooth so you can connect a controller to it and prop it up and game instead. The battery also lasts about 3-4 hours depending on how demanding the games you play are.

I bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it. It is a massive step up form the Steam deck. We have that device and it can't play anything very well and has terrible screen. This has a fantastic screen and plays everything, it is wonderful.

I brought this a few months ago being my first system I waited to review this is hands on better then a steam deck. Battery life is ok if you game a lot. A lot of games you get 2-3 hours off charge. I love the fact you can use it as a pc as well I been able to play games like Elden ring on mid to high specs with little fps drops so definitely a plus.. overall 5 stars on this

Yes this has a longer battery life and a bit more ram then the Ally with Z1 Extreme. For me, I couldn't justify the additional $400 price tag so I just ended up sticking with the Ally Z1 Extreme.

I got this baby open-box and have been enjoying playing games on it. I am not a big fan of Windows, so I really enjoy the fact that I was able to install a Linux os onto the machine (I am using bazzite as of this review). 1 terabyte storage is a really good amount of storage on this console, just enough to keep 100 gb games installed without needing to periodically delete them from the system. I recommend getting this if you are ever interested in handheld PC gaming!

Open Box unit listed as "Good" was honestly immaculate. Not a single visible mark or anything, but it came without a box or the little cardboard stands that come with them usually. Fair enough trade off for saving $150. I've been putting this unit to the test with various AAA titles as well and I cannot see anything wrong with it, externally or internally. Absolutely would recommend, but obviously the chance for issues is there and every open box won't be the same.

Great overall can run Triple A games no issues max settings 1080p around 60-100 fps depending on the type of game, very fun product definitely recommend!!!

absolutely love it-you can safely skip the z2 unless you reeeally want cutting edge great dpad for fighting games and the dbrand skin for this (along with everything else they make) is fantastic and has the best grip youll ever have for a portable console games run great and the screen is sharp and bright and is flicker free -no pwm flicker like the steam deck thankfully

Bought the device about a year ago by now, ended up selling it. It was great when I had it, good performance and the shape was alright. Only issue I had with it was the screen was a bit small. I'd definitely recommend it if you don't want to get the new generation of Xbox Allys.

I was hoping for Nintendo to announce a new console that would be a more sophisticated Switch Pro type device but after hearing the full announcement I was so glad I went with the ROG Ally X as I can play my Steam library and PC Gamepass with ease. Then after hearing Microsoft adopted this variant for their new handheld I knew I made a solid purchase. Very happy customer!

Ive owened a few handheld pc game machines and this is hands down the best. Rigjt now im playing Black Myth: Wukong and getting 60FPS easily. Thr battery is amazing as well. I cant wait to see what the Rog Ally X 2 will be like

Product receives 5 stars due to customer service. Im happy with the open box procuct itself and it functions very well. When received it did not come with a charger which was described as being part of the open box set in Excellent condition. I went to my local Best Buy location, which is not the one the product shipped from, and explained the situation and they quickly and painlessly helped me resolve the situation with a replacement charger.

It's a really great machine. Windows is a little clunky on it but that's just Windows. It'll run a lot of games pretty well. You should probably have it plugged in while playing resource intensive games since it'll suck the battery dry really quick.

This machine is excellent for AAA gaming. Frame rate is great, very little to no lag and easy to navigate if you are familiar with windows 11.

Great for a handheld! I’ve been playing triple A title games such as Diablo 4, GTA 5 and Halo Infinite with no issues. Awesome for on the go and battery last up to 2-3 hours, longer for less power hungry retro type games.

I really enjoy the Asus ROG Ally X! I’ve had the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and the original ROG Ally Z1 Extreme and I can say that this is leagues above all others in terms of performance and comfort. Its nice having all of my steam games and xbox game pass all on one device that I can play on the couch or on a long car ride. It can take some time adjusting game settings to get optimized performance but it’s easy to get the hang of.
